We had a great time at this park. It has two playgrounds next to each other (the smaller one says ages 2-5). It has restrooms, a water fountain, parking, a dog park, a little free library, and more! We would have explored more but it started raining. We also saw several deer grazing and we gave them plenty of space.

As local photographers/videographers, we absolutely adore this park for so many reasons. The tall pines, the amazing boardwalk and the fun playgrounds for the littles. This is definitely top on our recommendations to clients and to host out yearly mini sessions!

This park is GORGEOUS! Tons of trees provide an enjoyable walking experience. The trails are well outlined and include boardwalks. The wildlife is vast and curious. A fun experience for people of all ages and your fur babies as there is a dog park! Playground Two playgrounds. One in front of the park and one in the back. Restrooms Restrooms throughout the park. Dog-friendliness Pet friendly except on boardwalks. Dog park for large and small dogs. Picnic area Plenty of shelters and picnic tables.

A great very diverse park, with a little bit of wildlife. There’s several trails, multiple playgrounds, an observation tower, lots of shelters, a boat launch. It is very busy and not very well maintained. The bathrooms are pretty gross and didn’t have any paper in them. Playground There are multiple play grounds for different age groups Restrooms Not all of them are open, the ones that are are kinda gross Dog-friendliness Two dog parks! Picnic area Lots of tables me picnic shelters through out

My dog and I love walking the trail around the center lake. In the mornings and evenings you will see all types of beautiful birds and deer. There are also boarded patches that will take you out to see over the lake.

Chestnut park is a great overall family and event spot for families and groups alike..beautiful dog park for my boston and great playground for my daughter to meet freinds as its a huge playing area compared to some parks. I like my Philipe park also but Chestnut takes it for overall scenery and enjoying a meal with the family and has other stuff to do. Has a baseball field and open soccer field area or can disc golf or whatever you feel like. Over looks lake tarpon with its own dock area and has its own mini lake within it to enjoy on a swing or so a picnic lunch. Playground Huge playground for kids and offers plenty of options so your child would not get bored very easily. Great community also. Everyone is doing their part to look out for the kids. 🤗🙌 Restrooms Restrooms are decent for a park and kept pretty well maintained. If one is off or dirty merely try the next one and is usually fine. Dog-friendliness Complete dog friendly for the park section and beyond that. Just keep them on a leash and they can walk majority of the park besides some parts that lead through the woods to the water since its a deck. Which is fine. Picnic area Lots and lots of pinic spots. No way you couldn't find a spot to enjoy with the family or date. 0:21

What a great place! I’m always looking for new places to walk with my husband. Came across this place and figured we’d give it a try. So glad we did! When we first pulled in immediately in a field to the left, where about eight Deers just grazing! I don’t think either of us have ever been that close to Deers! We parked immediately to see them. We obviously kept a safe distance to respect and give them their space, but never have we even been that close to a deer in our life. There is no parking fee or at least none that we could find, which was super surprising. We saw signs for a boat dock, but decided just to park at the first parking spot we found which we’re by two playgrounds. there are bathrooms at this property and right by the playground’s bathroom was the entrance to the boardwalk. Such a beautiful day in Florida today, so it was so enjoyable to explore the boardwalk. There was One Direction that was a dead end and the other direction, a boardwalk leads you right to the boat docs. There is also a cool observation tower. altogether the boardwalks from start to finish were about a little over a mile and a half. But that’s not all! This park has a large dog park, and also so many little campsite areas. We ended up blocking 3 miles total exploring some of the property, but will definitely be back to explore more. Throughout the whole property, even towards the back camp areas, there were more Deers just walking around. we saw a small gator in one of the ponds. Overall, this place was amazing! We will 100% be back to explore other areas of the park. Playground Two playgrounds right next to each other Restrooms Yes, there was one bathroom stall area in the front by the playgrounds, and we saw one towards the back of the property Dog-friendliness Absolutely dog, friendly! There were so many dogs and quite a big dog park area Picnic area So many picnic areas. Grills, tables, little hut areas. We saw so many people enjoying their time. Not sure how you rent them, but some of the signs in front of them stated reserved.

This is a beautiful park! I love how it feels different from a lot of other parks around here, and almost makes me feel like I'm back up north with the tall trees. Plus, you can sometimes see deer! This park is the only place nearby that I know of to have deer.
