Lake Benson Dog Park

Large dog park, always busy with nice dogs! I bring water and a bowl for my dog every time, their water fountain is not really functional.

My first time taking my girls at any Dog park and was a little nervous doing so but they made friends will definitely be going back with my girls every one I met was so friendly I will definitely be taking them back.

Honestly out of all the dog Parks I’ve went too this one is by far the best one. The owners are so friendly and the dogs are wonderful ☺️ Plus there is a huge trail to walk your dog if you want a one on one time with your dog

My dog isn't quite old enough to use the dog park, but I can't wait to take her. I've been to Lake Benson park several times and always see quite a few dogs at the dog park, especially in the large dog area. There are two sections, one for dogs under 25lbs and one for dogs over 25lbs, water filling stations in each, and plenty of space to run around. If you're looking for a good dog park to socialize your dog, this is it!

Space to run around, and have picnics. Most importantly, for me anyway, bathrooms. Bring your dog. They will love the large fenced in areas to play with a variety of dog breeds. Or you can walk around on the trails.

Great dog park-my dogs get all their energy out while socializing with people and other doggos! And my son still enjoys the playground and biking with us through Lake Benson Park.

Great place for an evening stroll... bring a pet, or a book, or just a light snack and a smile to share... 🙂 …

I love going here. I like to take long walks and enjoy nature Playground There's different playground for the kids. Restrooms Yes they do have restroom Dog-friendliness There's a park for dogs it has two one for big dog and another for little dogs. Picnic area To be honest there's a huge open filed where you can have picnic and next to the kids playground there's BBQ that you can use. 0:21

Awesome park with clean trails and lots for the kids to do.

Well maintained and very large area for dogs to run and play. They have 2 areas, one for larger dogs 26 lbs and up and one for smaller dogs. Their is a self draining water fountain fornthe pups. They provide pick-up bags and try to keep the dispensers filled but if there are a lot of dogs sometimes they run out. Not really an issue because everyone brings their own anyway. Overall a great place for your pet to get exercise and for you to meet other pet parents.

Picnic shelter, swings, wide open spaces, walking trails, dog area. A good place to take the pets or kids.

Nice park lots of people but they spread out so ur not close to anyone this park has multiple play areas for kids very nice long walking trails on both sides of the road lots of open yard space to have a family picnic. Areas to have a family gathering such as cookouts birthday's any celebration. You have to visit go walk the trail have a Picnic enjoy the breeze I did and definitely will return😁

It was the first time I visited the park. Large and spacious area for fur babies to play in, plus nice amenities such as water fountains for the pups and a separate small dog park right next to it. It was also very clean (ground is covered in wood chips). Seating is a little sparce, but that's ok. Plus, it is right next to some nice hiking trails nearby, in case you would instead like to walk your dog.

Dog parks in the Raleigh area are maintained (other than major grass care and repairs) by the people who use them. Lake Benson's park is always clean and well-stocked. The fencing is excellent, and follows the gold standards: separate play areas for large and small dogs, double gates at every entrance, sturdy latches, and prominently posted, clear guidelines for use. We love this dog park and so does our pooch.

Great dog park with trails nearby. It has a water fountain and doesn't cost anything to enter. There is plenty of shade, but also lots of sun, and they do have the two parks split for big/little dogs!

i have a 6 month old energetic bernedoodle! we love this dog park so much. i wish more smaller pups would come out so he could have some friends. if you see us please say hello! Eleven is super friendly and is excited to meet new friends :)

The fenced portion is not as big as other parks but I like it that way. Much easier to monitor all the dogs and still plenty room to play. The park is well taken care of. There's a big community of dog people here who are so friendly and caring too. Lots of places to park, the playground for children is close by, restrooms are close by, can see Lake Benson through the trees. Dog fights don't happen often and when they do, it's quickly stopped by attentive owners.

A little crowed. Popular place. Big dogs and little, separated. A large area just many people.This was one of the series of warm days after winter so everyone came out to walk. The trail that runs around the park is a great place to walk or run also. Your dog needs to be leashed here. Nice views of Benson Lake and a big field to enjoy along with a gazebo for eating and grilling.
