Lassing Park

This is a gem of St. Pete! Perfect to walk the dog and not overly crowded! It's beautiful, serene and a wonderful place to sit down and enjoy!

Beautiful open field style park with benches and scenic waterfront views. Public space for sports, dog walking, exercising, and enjoying water views on Tampa Bay. Playground No playground. Restrooms No restrooms. Dog-friendliness Friendly, but no dog park, leashes recommended. Picnic area No picnic area.

Beautiful shore, spacious grass area and a perfect example of a public park with something for everyone. On any given day you meet people picnicking, walking dogs, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or, on a windy day kite surfing. Everyone gets along and shares the environment.

Beautifully well kept and hosts amazing events! The view too of the water is gorgeous.

Two sharks near shore actively chasing prey. So shallow that the fin continued above waterline continuously unbroken without stop for 15 minutes repeat…15 min 0:30

Walked here from our airbnb. Water was warm enough even in Feb. shallow sand bar to even allow a little 3 year old to walk on. A few homeless ppl sleeping but what can you do. Was a beautiful area to visit before our flight home to cold IL later that day. I assume some can kayak there but we didn’t have time.

This is a really nice park that is close to my house. Many people sunbathe here walk their dogs or just relax.

Beautiful and serene is all that comes to me when thinking on today and the lunch location me and a colleague visited. We did simple sandwiches and rode around looking for a spot. We blessed up with the nice weather on today along with some winds and caught a view of guys parasailing on the waves. Simply beautiful!!!!!!!❤❤❤🥰❤❤❤ …

This is a great little park. Free parking along the street. Lots of wildlife-jumping fish, birds, birds, birds I even saw a shark once! Dog-friendliness Yes!

This is a fantastic place to take your dog either on or off leash. A very good place to go kayaking and paddle boarding, or also just for a picnic! 0:25 0:27 0:08

Right on Tampa Bay, Lassing Park is a nice ooen strip of grass with some sabal palms and oak trees. Great for exercising and dog walks.

I love going to Lassing Park! Large, waterfront to play with the dog! Excellent neighborhood. No playground but it’s a great location for picnics, large gatherings, watching sunsets and moonrises

Great park for sunrise and sunset and moonrises. Lots of places to sit and dog friendly. Neighborhood is also great to walk in the surrounding area.

A great out of the way strip of park that has good views of Tampa Bay, nature, and beautiful sunrises. There are a few benches scattered through it to sit and watch. You might even catch a boat and dolphins swimming by too.

Lassing has some of the best sunrises in St Pete. Lots of space, bring the pups! Some benches sprinkled around. Very peaceful.

Such a great park to watch the sunrise!!! There is also sometimes yoga and other workout classes going on in the morning - the instructors are so nice and I think you can jump right in! It’s also dog friendly which I love

Best park in St Pete's, endless grass, great trees, amazing shallow bay, my dog thinks it heaven. Amazing wind surfing too!
