Beautiful park with redwoods. In the valley part you actually feel like you are in a forest for a moment. Great place for dogs. Not fenced in but the valley part has steep slopes that should keep most dogs from escaping.

Cute little Park on a hill that would have been nothing. It's muddy after the rain ☔ and not at all accessible, stairs on both bottom and top entrances. Lots of dogs and most owners were attentive when I've visited.

Piedmont is annoying about making you get an off leash license, but the park is nice and has a unique layout with a hill. Accessible from both above and below. Poorly lit at night.

Okay park, you'll need a Piedmont off leash tag to go into these parks. I personally haven't gotten mine yet but you could get ticketed for it. The actual park is not the best very hilly not alot of room for the dogs to run.

Had a great experience here. There were a few dogs ranging from small to large and they all got along. People were friendly and easy to talk to. There are plenty of tennis balls around and the area is fairly clean. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the broken water fountain. Bring a water bottle!

Linda Ave dog park is a moderate sized off leash dog park in the Piedmont area of Oakland. There's Street parking as well as a parking lot adjacent to the upper area entrance. This park is on a fairly steep hill, however, there are stairs and sidewalks joining the street side entrance with the upper parking area/entrance. There are benches and other seating with plenty of both shade and sun. The hill really gives the dogs a great workout and water is available, but no bathrooms.

Another fly dog park. Out of sight. This pup copper was out here and was classing the place up hard. Very cool. Ruff ruff and away!

Fantastic park. Glad to find that the City got rid of the displaced camp to provide the park back to its own residents. Parking is available on street. Large trucks going from marshaling yard. Be Mindful

Quiet local park hidden gem, dogs love it

It's OK, but no grass left anywhere. It's a place for your dog to get some off-leash time. Best for dogs that are fairly physical and like to chase balls.

The majority of the park is on steep dirt terrain. Wish they still allowed dogs on the grassy part across the pathway. Piedmont, please give our pups a better and safer play area!

My dog loves this park; the other dogs that come here are always super friendly and inclusive. It's getting pretty dry and dusty, though, and we're all wondering when the grassy hill is going to reopen. All our dogs love getting muddy on that hill 😏🐶🐕🦮🐕🦺🐩 …

This is my least favorite dog park BUT cleaner than some of the ones close to me. Its in a steep hill and I've seen a few dogs sprint down and accidently just fall and roll. There's no flat area. It's not big enough to really get a sprint in for a bigger dog. Mine is a mini aussie/collie mix so she needs that running room. There is a water fountain but either it leaks or people keep pushing until the water flows out? I don't know but there's always mud there. I've seen a few dog fights here and usually find the owners chitchatting in a group not really paying attention to their dogs.

Small locals dog park...lots of poop not getting scooped, but so many balls and rope toys for the dogs to share. Not having double gated entrances makes me nervous, but they always seem closed properly.

Looking from the outside I thought it relatively small but once you go inside it is a lot bigger then I realized. Everyone I have encountered there have all been extremely friendly and helpful. There is two entrances, plenty of benches and places to sit both in the sun and shade, they do have a water fountain for the dogs, and buckets of balls in case you forget to bring your own. I highly recommend this park.

It was my first time visiting this "dog park" and I was greatly disappointed. It's just a dirt hill and I came in a day it rained so it was a mud hill. My dogs wouldn't even step on it. My dogs got bored whitin 10 minutes so I searched for a dog park nearby and found that Dracena Quarry Park was a short distance and so I drove over. So glad I did as my dogs really enjoyed themselves.

Closed a lot, gates do get locked. Mostly on a hill with a lot of dirt. Don't go here during or after rain, unless you are ready to give your fluff a huge bath. Really kind and nice people who are usually social. I use the back section on the hill sometimes after hours when they lock the main section to let the dogs play a little off leash at night, very safe but there are no fences if your fluffy friend likes to run away (in the back).

This is a great little community dog park that's close by. When time is scarce which it so often is it's nice not to have to drive to get the dog some social interaction. I've gotten to know many neighbors this way. This little park fosters a sense of community spirit and brings down the stress level of dogs and their owners. Please save Linda dog park! For whatever strange reason the city has been trying to close this park for a while, booo hissss :/

Convenience for me is the best thing about this park, but it's dirt Hill so your dog gets dirty easily and you have to go down a hill to recover all the tennis balls your pooch fails to return. Not bad as far as cleanliness but it's a dog park so expect some dog pooh scattered about. Lots of different dogs and owners come here and they rotate pretty quickly in and out.

Great place with cement, dirt, dirt and more dirt. The dogs were awesome and we had a great time. Even though another dog busted my dogs ball and it took a bit to get the ball back. Overall it was great.
