Little Fresh Pond Dog Beach

Not a great watering hole to swimming with a dog just learning how to swim. Probably fine for an experienced dog swimmer. Very rocky and just a small opening for the dogs to enter. Disappointed in this doggo swimming hole. FYI you have to enter essentially to the path next to the golf course.

This is a Cambridge gem and a dog's paradise! The dog beach and the adjoining dog walk are such a fun environment for our dog to exercise off-leash and socialize, and the scenery is gorgeous. We go here at least once a week. Restrooms There are nice restrooms at the ranger station.

I love this dog beach. It is a great place for the dogs I walk to cool off. It is under construction right now and I am excited to see what the updates will look like.

Peaceful place to sit and rest after or during the run ;)

It's a trail around a golf course. The pups have access to the pond but most of it is full of aquatic plants. Be careful of the poison ivy plants on the trail. Dog-friendliness It is dog friendly, but it's preferable to have your dog with the leash to avoid exploring the plants or an accident with the bikes

What a great little spot for dogs to swim! Lots of action in this little cove. If you have a water loving pooch, give it a try. Can take a nice walk around the big pond and end with a dip in the little pond. Thank God for the little pond, you know? If they didn't have the little pond they wouldn't have gotten the idea for the big pond.

NOT ADA Accessible: If you're up for an inclined walk and not tied to having a designated parking lot, this little outlet is lovely! It’s small, and there’s a lot more fence than I'd like, but if you live near here, it's a great little walk! Dog-friendliness Off lease

This is a great little spot around fresh pond that allows you to take your dog off leash. We brought our Corgi here, who took her first swim in the pond! If you have a dog and are in the area I highly recommend stopping by!

Great little spot for the dogs to cool off on a hot day. Parking is a bit tricky to find since the map of the city of Cambridge parks department depicts parking areas which you can't actually park in, but great walking area!

I always enjoy my walk here, because I can meet happy people and many happy dogs.
