The best dog park with a beach in Seattle. It's not as large as some of the other parks in seattle, but the beach it has for dogs that like to swim is incredible. There's even a hose-off station outside the gates to clean of your sandy dog

Luther Burbank Park is an awesome spot to hang out, especially on a sunny day. The off-leash dog area has a little beach where dogs can splash in the lake, and there’s even a rinse-off station to clean them up afterward. Great walking trails, picnic tables, and a peaceful shoreline with views of Lake Washington. It does get pretty busy on nice weekends, and parking can be a bit tricky—worth getting there early if you can.

Truly an amazing park near the lake. I go here everyday. This park has everything. It's peaceful. It has a water fountain if you get thirsty. There's a playground and there are bathrooms. There are beaches and there is a mult docks. There's even a dog park. One for big dogs. One for small dogs. They even have abandoned ruins. I would def want you to check it out.

The view is lovely, and there's ample parking. The trails are good, though the park feels somewhat undermaintained and dated in places, particularly the trail markings, restrooms, and playground.

A beautiful park offers many activities. You can walk your dog, let your dog run and swim in the off-leash dog area, and enjoy watching the dogs roam freely. It's so much fun to see them enjoying the park. You can also watch shows while sitting in picnic chairs and enjoying a beautiful day.

Lovely park with walking paths, dog area, playground for children, tennis courts, swim docks and more. I recently visited with oyt of town friends and they really enjoyed the walking paths in this historical place. Wonderful for picnics!

Beautiful, clean dog park. Most of the people there were great. But a few too many people Who brought their dogs to the off leash dog park, and then were upset when other dogs went up to smell. Totally understand if dogs were being aggressive - but not the case here. Had 2 dog owners get upset when my/other dogs went up to smell their dogs, and proceeded to go to the corner with their dogs. If you’re going to an OFF LEASH park, and then get upset that other dogs are going to interact with your dog, why are you here??? Go to a field somewhere else. Had another dog owner yell at his dog every time it came to us or other dogs. His dog was completely friendly and did nothing wrong.

Nice trailhead by the waterfront with a quiet neighborhood. The location of the park is just beside the I-90 Mercer way exit and it’s super easily accessible. The trailhead is well maintained and it’s about 1.5 miles loop trail. Took around 1h to finish. The park also has a children’s playground and off leash dog park. Waterfront view is awesome and it has ample seating benches to enjoy the scenery. Quick tip: south parking is way less crowded than the north parking lot:)

This park in winter is beautiful too. Few people except for off-leash dog park. In Mercer Island they don’t have a leash ordinance so many on the parks don’t require dogs on leash. They must have good recall tho! Luther Burbank does have dogs leashed in areas like swimming 🏊‍♀️ and playgrounds most of the park. But other parks don’t. Explore that it’s nice to let your dog be a dog!!The all fenced dog park in SMALL area right on water so dogs can run right into water. The rest of the park is grand with roped off swimming areas for people only, ( no dogs) There's still BIG fun tho! There is a south parking lot which is close to swimming area and the main lot is where the docks and dog park area can be reached. Extreme dock area guess 7 docks all connected where boats can dock also. Partly a swamp preserve too. It's all sand so be ready for sandy paws bed etc. 1 hose now right at exit/entrance allow to hose dogs off!! Excellent thinking park people!!. Colder water than Marymoor which in summer counts!!

There are so many hidden spaces and cool spots to explore. Has a cool zip line and playground for the kids. The park has 3 PICKLEBALL courts. The courts are deteriorating fast, but the rumor is they should have new courts by October! No light planned last i heard. Also u can fish and there are some walkways the go pretty far out into the water. Awesome park!

One of the few parks in the Seattle area where you can fly your drone and capture some of the most captivating views. Very family and dog friendly - there are parking spots reserved for families. It wasn’t crowded when I visited in the winter - the weather was warm enough :). Easy to get to with a car. I didn’t think it was easily accessible by public transportation. Dog-friendliness Extremely dog friendly - folks walked their dogs when the weather was warm enough. 0:07

Such a great spot to walk with our dog. The water is clean, and the tree-covered trails help keep things cool even on hot days. The view from the bench in the park was absolutely beautiful. One downside, though, was that the parking was a bit difficult since there aren’t many spaces. Playground The park had a playground, and it was full of kids playing and having fun. Restrooms There was a restroom available, but it wasn’t clean and didn’t have any toilet paper. Dog-friendliness The park is clean and has trees around, which makes it a nice place to walk your dog. There are people walking their dogs too. Picnic area There were picnic tables around the park, which made it a nice place for a picnic.

Great park for hanging out by the lake. The park has access to beaches, kids playing area, tennis courts and off-leash dog area. There's also a facility for bathing dogs. The area designated for swimming has a lifeguard during daytime. Can also do fishing. The views of the sunsets are gorgeous.

Beautiful place to visit. Absolutely spectacular urban park for hiking. Large and nice view. Great place to go for a stroll solo with dogs or the whole family. Well maintained and terrain make this a fairly easy walk.

A coworker let me know about this park on Mercer Island that has a bit of history to it and has a dog park, so I visited recently. I parked over at the Community Center since I wasn't sure where the parking lots would be. Did end up finding them later and it looks like there's plenty of parking! Didn't walk far enough to see the dairy barn ruins and dog park, but did get to see the playground (where a restroom is located), the rock in the middle of a meditation spiral and nearly lost my phone at whilst jumping about, a dock one could walk on and relax, and two buildings with some historical significance. Loved how walkable everything was and especially that there were mosaics~ 0:06

Gorgeous history rich park with plenty of trails and entrances to the beach. Child and dog friendly with playgrounds for both. Plenty of fishing spots and awesome views. May God bless the keepers of this place and may God bless you, guide you and protect you and your family from evil. I pray and ask in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Baptizer of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen. Playground The best stacked playground I have ever seen in my travels. Restrooms Currently closed for renovation but they look solid. Dog-friendliness Good lil doggies everywhere and a big nice sandy play area. Picnic area Cute scattered areas by the beach or in the forest paths. 0:30

Very big park, alot to do, room for everyone. Off leash dog park was cool. Very big, lots of dogs and they can play in the water. Awesome for a weekend walk, or a weekend family get together. Great for freebies, throwing a football, kicking a soccer ball back and forth. Again more then enough room for everyone!! Only one down fall I could see, not a lot of parking. But seems to cycle kinda fast, people in and out. There is two parking area's, one north, one south.

This is the most beautiful park I have ever seen in the Mercer Island. There are a lot of things to visit in this park. There are kid's playground, tennis courts, restrooms, picnic areas, many parking lots, dog area without leashing. You can take a quick nap in the beautiful green grass along the lake area. There is a boat dock along the beach if you need it. There is nothing better than enjoying the fresh air and walking along the park in a beautiful sunshine day in Seattle
