Took our two dogs here a few times now and it's a really nice size dog park... There is plenty of space for them to run around and also there are a few chairs that you are able to sit down on and there was also water available for the dogs lovely little Park

Great park, fully fenced in and leveled, surrounded by gorgeous trees. All the pups were super nice and played along. Milo loved his play time there. We'll be back again for sure!

Really cool dog park. Lots of space for pup to run around. However, keep a close eye on your doggy. There are nightshade berries growing around the fences that can make your dog sick. I've included photos so you know what to look out for.

The fenced off-leash dog area is huge and has running water and a bowl (water is turned off during freezing months), and there are chairs and benches to sit on. There is no bathroom here. On the weekdays during working hours there is usually at least one or two dogs there, and on the evenings and weekends there is usually at least 10 dogs. The people and the dogs have always been friendly, and everybody picks up after their dog so it's pretty clean. Outside of the fenced area, there is a trail that wraps around the park and goes through a large wooded area with lots of shade. There is only street parking, Haig drive has immediate access to the fenced area, or you can walk through the park from 170th Restrooms No restroom Dog-friendliness In my experience, the dogs here have always been friendly

Lynchwood Park, while technically located on SE 170th Avenue in Portland, is definitely a relevant park for Gresham residents, particularly those on the western side of the city, due to its proximity. It's not a general-purpose community park, but rather a dedicated haven for our four-legged friends. What makes Lynchwood Park truly unique is its singular focus as a dog park. This isn't just a patch of grass where dogs are tolerated; it's a meticulously designed space for them. The fully fenced, off-leash area is the star attraction, offering ample room for dogs of all sizes to run, play, and socialize freely. It's a joyful cacophony of happy barks, playful chases, and contented sniffs. For the human companions, Lynchwood provides thoughtful amenities that elevate the experience beyond just a place to let the dog out. The water fountain for both pups and people is a lifesaver on warm days. Shaded seating areas offer a welcome respite from the sun, allowing owners to relax while their dogs burn off energy. The double-gated entrance is a small but crucial detail that speaks to safety, ensuring dogs can't dart out unexpectedly. Beyond the main off-leash area, you'll find a perimeter path that's perfect for those who prefer to keep their dogs on a leash, or for a leisurely stroll while observing the canine antics within the fence. It's a park that understands and caters specifically to the needs of dog owners, making it a vital resource for pet families in the area. Lynchwood Park might not have playgrounds or sports fields, but it excels at what it does: providing a safe, engaging, and well-equipped environment for dogs to be dogs, and for their owners to enjoy the simple pleasure of watching them thrive.

LOVE this park! It's perfect for playing ball with the doggy....tall fir trees and wide paths and it's always shaded and cool on hot days. Next door is the REAL dog park: nice big fenced enclosure with chairs/benches for resting, a water-filled pool for the dogs and plenty of room to run. It's ideal and we love it!

I come here all the time to practice photography. Great people, amazing pups. Made my move into town a lot smoother with a ton of regulars that all know each other. It’s a lovely place. Dog-friendliness Great big open field in a fenced area for dogs to run around and play, as well as a nice big circle to walk outside of the fence.

Parking at the West end of SE Haig Drive will give you immediate access to the Lynchwood Fenced Off-Leash Dog Park. Parking along SE 170th Ave will require about a football field’s length walk to the fenced park entrance. Dual entry gates are located at both the West and East sides of the fence line. This Dog Park has plenty of chairs to relax in. The apple trees are a nice touch too. 0:11 0:11 0:07 0:11

We love this dog park! Marley is a regular here as he has made quite a few friends. There is a good amount of shade, plenty of drinking bowls and a faucet, chairs and benches spread throughout. The people and dogs that frequent here are also pretty chill. Definitely recommend if you want somewhere to relax while your doggo gets some socializing in!
