Madison Square Dog Park

Awesome dog park. All dogs get along so well no matter what size they are. On another note, some dog owners DO NOT pick up after their pups. Please pick up your pups poop!!!

Never had any problems here. Its a nice dog park but the water fountain has been out of order for so time now. So bring your own water and water bowl if you visit. Also, some owners don't pick up after their dog goes to the restroom.

This is a dog park that my baby loves to go too. It's huge and clean. People just have to remember to pick up after their pups. On top of that. They even supply doggy poop bags. It's wonderful.

Three table benches, five park benches and one large space for all sized dogs. While this park is small the dogs are laid back urban dogs. This is a great place for the dogs to attempt squirrel catching.

The only reason I put 4 stars is because even though my dog may be okay around diverse dog sizes, others might not be. However, it's still a great dog park!

If you enjoy incessant barking(At you, your kids, a leaf, the color purple), and don't want to have your dog actually act like a dog(no sniffs!, no playing with other dogs!), then this place is for you!

Such a happy puppy place!! All the dogs were very friendly! My ab mix aka fat floppy rhino, had fun being the turtle not quite keeping up with the stampede of doggos but loved watching them run and play! Also my littles the shih and chi both enjoyed the area as well!! Wish there was more grass but so is the life with dogs lol we will be back!!

Clean. My dogs have a blast here. Love the mulch on the ground. Very well kept. Squirrels come out every once in a while to tease the dogs and owners are very responsible.

Dirt and feces. Maybe 8 foot spot of grass in the entire area. There is dog poop everywhere. Dirt and one patch of grass. My dog rolled in the dirt and needed a bath before coming inside the house. Gross. No grass. Highly recommend not going here. Feces and dirt park. No one watches their dog, uses this like a gated babysitter. AVOID this park.

This park has three tables inside the park with one of them under a tree for a good shade. It also has benches. The park provides dog poop bags in two areas. The park has a water fountain for the dogs and also a shower to wash your fur child. What I like about this parked is that it doesn’t have dirt, it mostly has mulch. The bad part about it for small dog owners, it doesn’t separate the large and small dogs from each. They mingle together. Another thing, you might see one or two homeless individuals, however there is an active sight of law enforcement vehicles driving around.

Big dog park with special area for the miniature and small '"yappers". Access from 3 sides, Broadway, Jones and Alamo streets. Doggie and human fountains located in one place by the primo port-o-pot. complete w hand washing station. Doggie refuse bags available inside run available also. Plenty of parking and convenient location. Nice gate stem to avoid escape. Nice doggie and human crowd frequenting this spot. Would enjoy seeing additional fountains inside run in future.

Nice dog park in downtown SA. I would give 5 stars if they had some dog play obstacles.

Medium sized dog park. Park includes a water fountain specialized for dogs and baggies for dog waste and trash cans and benches to sit. There’s no obstacles for the dogs to train or play with. Just ground to run around. The only thing I really like about this park is getting my dog to play with other dogs here and socialize with other dogs. Most of the time the park is dead with no activity or dogs except for weekends around sunset

Great place for my zoomie kelpie dog to get out and stretch her legs a bit. Friendly folks, friendly dogs and a welcoming atmosphere for new people with new pups. Very much appreciate having this place so close! What would I ever do without it?

I own a 88lb female Rottweiler. Very friendly and well behaved. We didn't make it through the second gate before being rushed by 4 dogs. 1 which was barking and a little aggressive for a 20lb dog. I kept my dog on a short leash not knowing what would happen. As we went to a area by ourselves. Another larger dog ran up. So we decided another area would be better. Nope. This area was covered in dog droppings. Nasty. Wont ever go back. Nor usexanother SA dog park.

Great dog park with multiple large shade trees and many entrances. Water fountain worked well and there were many areas to sit--picnic benches and park benches. Parking is easy to find--metered around the park, and free on Sundays. The other dogs and owners were friendly. Check it out!

My dogs have never been to a dog park and im so glad this is their first one. Spacious. Ppl very friendly. You may find doggie bombs but for most part ppl pick up after their dogs.
