Mahoney Park Dog Run

I wish the smaller dog area had more interesting places and was a little bit bigger with trees that were taken care of. Looks like the trees that were planted have been beat up and are dying/dead….compared to Holmes lake there is care that is lacking. On the other hand it’s in a great location and people are friendly and most but not all watch their dogs, but that could be said about anywhere you go. All in all there is potential to really make this a great park/run. I hope I’m not speaking out of turn leaving this review. All in all I’m thankful just to have one near by!

If men wouldn't bring their aggressive dogs there it would be great! I can get a taser to protect my dog and self or just not go anymore.

Such a nice dog park. Most dogs here are friendly and well behaved. I love having this space to let my 5mo old puppy run free and socialize with other dogs. Added bonus is getting to socialize with their dog owners too (:

The park is fine. People not so much. My pit got attacked by a large black pit and the owner did NOTHING (except hit my dog with a chuck it stick). When I finally got the dogs separated he booked it and tried to leave with his clearly aggressive dog before I caught up to him. Wouldn't give me his contact info seeing as my dog has multiple bite wounds. Didn't think to take a pic of the license plate. We wont be coming back.

A very lovely dog park. Spacious and clean! Friendly dogs and Friendly people. I really appreciate all the benches, the paved trail, the charging station & dog water fountain. *The gates don't stay shut*. Beware they can fly open on a windy day* they don't have any latch to keep them shut so just be extra cautious around all the gates.

Easy to get to, and the variety of terrain was great for our pups. As others mentioned, the gates can fly open unexpectedly. The fence, which is not in great shape in some places, is only 4' tall. Beware if you have a jumper. Dog-friendliness It's a dog park.

It's a nice, large dog park. Lots of area for your dogs to play. We have never had a bad experience with other owners or their dogs. Like most dog parks, there are inconsiderate pet parents that don't pick up after their dogs, but that's on them (not the park). The areas are divided by dog size, but if you have both small and large dogs, go to the large size area. PLEASE be considerate and pick up after your pets.

This is a Beautiful place to take your fur babies! Everyone has been so friendly when we started going here! They have a big dog area with a walking trail and covered table. The small dog area has a covered table area as well and is still decent sized. It is well maintained and there is a porta potty for use also! It's a great dog park.

I love this dog park. It's convenient and the dogs and their humans have all been very nice to me and my Bailey. The water fountain and the porta potty are a much appreciated plus.
