I love bringing my dogs to training at Mak's. I have both dogs in classes here and wouldn't go anywhere else. They get so excited when we pull in the parking lot. The staff here is so great with the dogs, there is someone there 24 hours/day. Makes me feel better about leaving my girls there. Worth the 1 hour drive for the class and for their safety. Mak Pack is the BEST!! Leaving my dog, Cooper, for the first time was a little nerve-wracking, but the team at Mak Pack immediately put my mind at ease. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this is a place filled with people who genuinely love and understand dogs. You can tell they prioritize a safe and happy environment for all the pups. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They are incredibly attentive and kind, and they treat every dog as if it were their own. They even take the time to learn about each dog's personality, quirks, and play style to ensure they're having the best day possible. I love seeing the daily photos and updates—it's so fun to see Cooper romping around with his friends and having a blast, especially in the little splash pool! He comes home wonderfully tired and happy every single time, which is the ultimate sign of a great day. And we are now utilizing their training program. Outstanding!! I never knew you could have so many dogs in one room and still be able to train. I can't recommend Mak Pack highly enough. Mak Pack training classes have been such a great experience for my dog and me. The trainers explain everything so clearly and break down each skill thoroughly so that training my dog didn't seem overwhelming or difficult. During each class the trainers took the time to address each individual dog to give advice on how to change and improve on certain behaviors specific to the individual dog. Having access to the indoor dog park before and after class is a great perk, so I was able to identify some off-leash issues that the trainers helped me work on with my dog. I also take my dog to daycare at the Tempe location, which has been really positive for maintaining her socialization. The staff are so friendly and greet my dog by name whenever I drop her off for daycare. No idea how they can remember all those dogs' names. I love Mak Pack and recommend them as often as I can. We just completed the group Beginner Level Training at Mak Pack Dog Training & Boarding, and the experience has been absolutely incredible! From the very first class, we felt welcomed into a wonderful community — not just for our pup, but for us as dog owners too. It’s been such a joy meeting fellow dog lovers and watching all the dogs improve week after week. Spencer and his amazing team are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and approachable. They bring just the right amount of humor to each class, making every session fun and engaging while still packed with valuable training techniques. Despite being in a group setting, we always felt heard, supported, and valued — which says a lot about the care and attention they give to every participant. One of our favorite bonuses was getting to use the indoor dog park before and after class at no extra cost — such a great way for the dogs to burn off energy and socialize more! We’ve already enrolled in the Intermediate Level Training and are genuinely looking forward to continuing our journey with Mak Pack. Our pup Bexley is also staying for his first boarding experience next weekend, and we feel completely at ease knowing he’ll be in such caring, capable hands. Just started beginner puppy classes with our new lab pup Dutch. We completed all three classes with our other lab Charlie who is now enjoying Therapy dog work. We are hoping for the same success with this dog. Classes are great and instructions clear for practice at home. Put in the time and effort, and you’ll have a beautifully trained dog!!! Edit: yeah!!! My husband and I have been consistently impressed with the staff at Mak Pack. They’re friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about Lucas. Each time I drop off him off, the team (could be Viv, Carly, Isaac, Kiely, Hayden and Justin or Lee (can’t remember his name, sorry) greet us warmly and takes the time to pet Lucas. It’s clear they know the dogs individually — remembering personalities, play styles, and even small details that make a big difference. The facility is always clean, organized, and full of positive energy because of the staff. We appreciate how the staff sends pictures of Lucas whenever he’s at daycare and/boarding. It’s reassuring to see how much effort they put into creating a safe, fun environment. Overall, the staff at Mak Pack go above and beyond. Mak Pack is truly the best! My dog Luna goes here for training and daycare, and she absolutely loves it. They also have an indoor dog park, which is such a fun bonus! The training is phenomenal! Luna is halfway through her intermediate classes now, and the improvement I’ve seen since she started has been incredible. Spencer Mak is amazing and really knows how to train dogs properly. Anthony and Abby are also wonderful, they’re always so kind, helpful, and genuinely care about the dogs! The daycare staff is fantastic too! I get picture updates sent to my phone every time Luna is there, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s clear she loves the staff and looks forward to every visit. Frankie has been attending daycare at Mak Pack for a few months and it has honestly been the biggest help and blessing to our family! She absolutely loves to go and the staff really seem to love her, which is reassuring to us because we love her so much!! Our Pitty, Moose, has been going to Mak Pak Chandler since he was 12 weeks old. Three training courses and doggie daycare. He's now 1.5 years old and very well trained. He adores this place and likes to give the staff goodbye hugs and kisses when I pick him up from daycare. The staff is incredible and caring.
