Love this park because it's typically empty (occasionally parking lot is full from people loading their boats but rarely are their people in the actually park area). It is a little hike to get from parking lot to the play area and tree roots have destroyed the path, little kids will trip. Could use a cleaning on play equipment, but not having to worry about crowds makes the trip worth it.

Nice place when it's not so packed. Can be a little challenging for fellow dog parents looking for a nice area to let their dogs to swim due to a pack of chubby middle-aged natives that frequent that park with their yappy ankle bitters and police all unleashed swimming dogs by suggesting that you keep them leashed while your swimming dog retrieves the thrown ball. So if you have a 100' retractable leash and the crowd isn't to thick its not all that bad. Has 1 porta-pody. No toilet paper though.

Went here with my dad and his dog. It has good walking trails and a great place for a bench facing the water. There's a small loop that if walked 5 laps will equal a mile. It is in a reasonably easy to access location off of Alcoa Highway (129). There is a playground, but it is smaller compared to others in the drivable area. It is also not fenced in. It looked new and in great condition. I didn't have my kids with me. Playground There is a playground, but it is smaller compared to others in the drivable area. It is also not fenced in. Dog-friendliness It doesn't have a dog park but the walking path is wide enough for a leashed dog to share with an oncoming walker. Picnic area There's a gazebo that has two tables. I wasn't looking for it and didn't see a flyer with instructions on how to reserve it for special occasions.

Great place to watch a sunset. Small, but nice. Sometimes the river is like glass. Don’t be alarmed if you hear gunshots, it’s just local duck hunters. 🦆 … 0:29

Maloney Road Park is a fantastic park for all. There is a playground, boat ramp/ dock, seating, one grill, one porta potty, and it is pet friendly (but pets must be on a leash). There's a cute little walk area that's simple/ easy. It also connnects to the knox-blount greenway. Parking is limited but decent. The location is easy to find, and it's a one lane road in/out, but it's well maintained. Playground The playground is cute/ great for toddlers & has swings. Restrooms Only has on porta potty. Dog-friendliness Pet friendly but must be on leash/ has an area that has bags to use to clean up pet mess. Picnic area Small but cute picnic area. 0:20
