The McDonough Zachery (sic) Park is a great area in the neutral ground between Toledano and Pleasant Streets. The park is named after John McDonough, a benevolent man who left a huge amount of money to the City and James Zacherie, a former City Councilman. The area is lovely with comfortable seating and gorgeous old growth oak trees providing shade. Playground No play ground Restrooms No restrooms Dog-friendliness Dogs allowed on leash Picnic area No picnic area 0:07 0:07 0:10 0:11

Lovely walkway park along Pleasant Street and Toledano Street stretching one block between St Charles Ave and Prytania Street. There are a rock benches to sit on in the middle of the street and free Trash bags to pick up the dogs poop too!

NEW Beautiful green space in the heart of the Garden District. Nice place to sit down and get some shade on a warm day. When I visited there was plenty of bird activity in the trees, I saw crows, mockingbirds, bluejays, robins and sparrows. Cool tree formations too. It's just a small park, skinny and a block long, but on a warm sunny day, I sure appreciated the shade and a bench to sit on. Dog-friendliness 100% pet friendly Picnic area Several benches
