Memorial Dog Park

The small dog section is very nice! But there’s people who bring their aggressive big dogs to the park and make it so hard for me to bring my dogs. There has already been 2 instances where I couldn’t even bring my dog inside the bigger dog section because of the aggression the other dogs had. Really disappointing how some dog owners can ruin it for others.

I’m so happy that we finally have a dog park in this area! It’s not very big but there’s two separate sections for small and large dogs. It was clean and there was plenty of bags provided. I couldn’t find a water fountain so don’t forget to bring some water for your pup!

I like that it's gated and it's a good size to let my dog run around and play.

Yup Definitely To Small For Real Dog Park. I Always See The Gates Open. Oh Yeah No Bag's For Poop Removal. We Always Get Broken Down Stuff In Barrio Logan. Oh Yeah This Was The Old Shuffle Board Center. Playground I Actually Like How After Several Years The City Finally Rebuilt It. I Definitely See A Lot Of Transients Walking Around. I Definitely Would Be Very Careful With Your Kid's Here. Restrooms Yup Definitely Always Dirty, No Toilet Paper, Hand Soap And Very Smelly. Oh Yeah Be Careful With The Transients. Dog-friendliness Yeah Definitely Run Down & Not To Friendly Looking. I Definitely Rather Go To Dogs Beach With My Dog. Picnic area Yeah The Tables Are Always Dirty. I Definitely Would Bring A Table Cloth. Oh Yeah Something To Clean & Wipe Down The Benches With. I Actually Recommend Bringing Your Own BBQ Grill. Yup Definitely Watch Out For Transients.

The Annual Cooper Family Foundation Juneteenth Celebration is held a Memorial Park. It's a great space for live music, art festival, food truck, and resource fair. There is a parking lot and street parking. Playground There is a designated play area with play structures. There is also a baseball field and space to play soccer. Restrooms The event had portable toilet and wash basins. Picnic area There is a picnic tables area near the playground.

The fences are nice. The dog park is tiny and dirty! The area around it had so many homeless people. We didn’t feel safe.

If you go before 1600,most likely you will have the large dog area for your dog alone. Its spacious and good for fetch.Sad that some dog owners dont pick up their dog's waste which makes me question how they treat their dog and why do they even have one.

Perfect for letting my friendly young and energetic pitbullterrier take off and run early in the morning. Someone was working on the baseball field..and another person taking out the trash from the trash can at the park. The baseball field looked great. This is next door to a beautiful school! Yes im surprised! My pero and i both loved it. Gracias
