Millie Bush Dog Park

You will love this dog park especially if your pup loves water! The big pools are a huge hit. Our dog had the best time running through the water features and cooling off on a hot day. It’s the perfect blend of fun and exercise! The park is spacious, clean, and safely fenced in. There are shaded seating areas for owners, fresh drinking water for the dogs. You can really tell it’s designed with both dogs and their humans in mind.

Very nice large dog park that offers two separate watering ponds for dogs to swim in on the large dog side also has an area for small dogs. Very large open space. Nice pathways and has ample trails and shade for patrons. However if your dog is afraid of deeper water they might not get into these ponds. Normally we go to Johnny Steele downtown but we were in the area and I always enjoy taking my Giant Schnauzer out for a run. 0:21

The park was very spacious, and have two pools in the big dog area. There a few mud pools around the park, which means your dog might get muddy. However there are little “showers” to wash your dog outside the park. The pool is definitely worth the mud pita. The only downside is I think there is a gun range on the same road. So if you have a dog with sensitive ears/frightens easily it can be a potential problem.

Nice large open space for a park, huge pond and washing stations right outside. Exactly what you need and what you'd expect from a well thought out dog park. People, though, can be a little strange there. A couple of busy body old ladies that... like to peer in cars.

I bring my dog here all the time he loves it. But do keep in mind there are owners who bring their dogs who are probably not friendly or fully vaccinated. Aside from that I do enjoy bringing my dog here. I love that there is a side for large size and small size dogs and also an area to hold your dog off when you’re heading home from the dog park. Restrooms I haven’t seen restrooms here so I can’t tell you if they have any or not. Dog-friendliness Like I said, for the most part, dogs are only friendly, but there will be rotten dogs who should not be there, but their owner is still bring them so you have to really gauge it.

I am visiting from Ontario Canada and thoroughly enjoyed this park! Well kept and area for both small and large dogs. The pond in each area is also so nice so dogs that love to cool down and chase the ball/fetch in the water. My puppy 1 yr old went right in 😄. Bonus it has a people/dog water fountain ! The other doggies parents were very nice and helpful. My grandson and I went in the water accidentally! A pet parent help us out of the water and another pet parent gave us a towel. Thank you so much❤️

My husband and I started going to Millie Bush Dog Park starting back in May of this year, and we just love this dog park. I love that it has an area for the smaller dogs and the bigger dogs separately. The 2 lakes make it special and nice for all doggies to play and cool off. It is a great place to bring your furry friends to roam and meet new friends. I have never had an issue with other dogs being unfriendly. My Nova just loves to play and wants that from every dog she meets, and some don't like that, lol This place does have a dog wash and water fountains. Sorry, they are not pictured. The only ding that I would give this dog park is that I wish that they had made it bigger in general. It can get congested quite quickly, especially on weekends, and there is not a whole lot of seating and shade like there could have been, but all in all, it is a great dog park and one of my favorites with fond memories. Dog-friendliness Most are friendly, but my best advice is to always test the waters first if your dog is timid or if it may be too much stimulus for it at first. All subjective, of course. Depends on the dog. I've never had an issue, though. 0:29
