We were passing by on our way to California, and thought it'd be nice to stop by a park a little off the beaten path. Came on a Saturday during the day and the whole place was filled with homeless, and the park is filthy. I had to remove dirty clothes from the bottom of the slide so my son could slide down. There were used cigarettes in every crevice, trash left everywhere, and equipment on the playground that were broken. Luckily the homeless who were there were quite friendly, but it's still not a place I'd feel comfortable letting my kids play at by themselves. This place has the potential to be so much more than it is now, but it'll need a lot of TLC to get there.

One star because the dog park section was okay- but you have to walk through the whole park to get to it - BUT only one entrance- Sketchy area - sketchy people everywhere - homeless sleeping and taking over every sitting cabana- people openly doing drugs and drinking openly midday. Not even 6 feet from the swings kids were playing on I FOUND A USED UNCAPPED NEEDLE/SYRINGE!! Threw it away and people were going through the trash Only parking is street or next to homeless encampments I was bothered by many high people asking about my dog and if I would sell him- TRASH and drug paraphernalia everywhere Soccer goals are all tattered and unusable People were even running around in traffic - Lil dog park was ok but everything else was weird and uncomfortable 10 out of 10 the city needs to do something about this

There is more homeless activity than child space. The dog park is cool, there are a few grills, soccer field, and jungle gym for kids. The park is newly renovated... But the local activities are not kid friendly 😑. Playground Clean and new Restrooms Not clean Dog-friendliness 2 parks separated by size Picnic area Shelters and grills... Usually occupied by homeless.

Small dog park, very far from any open gate. Wish honey would make entrances more accessible as only two are open on the same side. Lots of homeless people but they seemed friendly. Would be careful going alone.

The homeless have taken it over although they are nice and don't bother anyone. My only issue is I've been picking up and throwing away heroin needles I find in the grass. I remember when this park was built it was beautiful. But the county seems to have given up on maintaining it besides the bare minimum

The homeless population is only abundant when the state workers aren't working the grounds or when the police don't enter. When the state workers lock the park at night, its not so messy in the morning. Usually when families and big events happen, the homeless will huddle off somewhere in the corners of the park. Definitely need to check the public restroom. Do not send children in there alone. The park has great activities, great level pathways and great foliage. It's the homeless and their uncouth behavior in front of families that's a bit discouraging.

I couldn't find any parking so I parked at taco bell then walked over with my dogs. At the entrance there was a group of young men kinda blocking the entrance. My sister and brother in law couldn't get into the park as soon as I came around the corner with my mastiffs they moved out of the way quickly and let us pass. The park was littered with homeless encampments and we didn't stay that long hopefully the county can clean this park up

What a park?!?! The grounds are large enough to accommodate a soccer field with room for spectators and plenty of room to spare. Looking for a place for an impromptu picnic, this is it. There are restrooms on site and a nice sized doggy play area. With Vons right next door it's the perfect place to go for a quick getaway. Enjoy!

This park sucks, but unfortunately if you have a dog it seems to be one of the only options in the area. Vegas has got to be by far the worst city for dogs in the country.

Absolutely no parking which is odd for a park. Makes it not accessible and makes me think it’s not made for families. More like vagrants that can just walk there and camp there. Didn’t feel safe so we ended up just driving by and leaving for a different park. While I was parked in front looking for another location to go, a homeless guy in a wheelchair knocked on my window and kept trying to look into my car to see what I was doing. I hightailed it out of there right away.

This park is a disappointment and you should never let your children play here even if you are with them. There are homeless people everywhere. They camp in all of the picnic areas and the restrooms. They bathe in the kiddie water park. There were 2 shootings at the Vons next to it in a week. Not to mention it is full of sexual predators. Send the police here and get rid of all of them.

I went specifically to look for someone, and the park is full of homeless and drugs. I would not recommend this park to families.

This place only good for one thing and that one thing is watching homeless people shoot up. They are all over the play areas, they shower in the splash pads and they have set up their homes in literally every gazebo. 0/10 unsafe for kids and adults alike.

This is not a good park for anything! Not family-friendly! It is clearly occupied by the homeless with their dogs roaming around off leash. In the actual fenced-in dog section, you will find unattended dogs belonging to the homeless as well. Side street parking is available right next to the homeless camps, and there are only two entrances into the park. Do not waste your time going here.

Thought I could do a quick walk with my dog before realizing there’s no dog park and the entire park is filled with homeless in and outside. Worse than Cali now, how this park had 3.2 is beyond me

Large park with walking track, dog park, and kids playground. Popular with local homeless.

Homelessness everywhere, trash everywhere. Disposed drugs and used needles ect around the gate. It's better to just try another park.

I would love to have a family picnic here…. I would not feel safe bringing my family here. It’s basically just a corral for the homeless during the day…. Went here once. Lots of drugs and people just staring at us….
