Monterrey Village Wildlife Trail, Playground, and Dog Park

Nice fenced in grassy area for dogs. Not seating for owners, but a nice place for your pups to walk around or play fetch.

Not a great dog park. The grassy pictures are old, the fenced area is just rocks (with liner sticking up everywhere) and lots of poops that people have not cleaned up after their dogs. I wouldn’t bother coming, I gave two stars because there are bags available and the fence is fully intact.

This park is pretty much just gravel in an enclosed area. I guess it used to be better but now you must be a Loma Vista resident to use. Nobody seems to pick up their dogs mess

Brighter lighting is available now. I was there late and was surprised by how much better it looks with it. Playground Play set available for kids 2 -10 with parental supervision, especially since it is not fenced-in. Restrooms No restrooms available Dog-friendliness The park does allow pets and even has a fenced-in area for 6hem to run off their leash. Picnic area Only one table with benches provided, no fire pit.

It is the Monterrey Village Wildlife Trail. Very well-kept.

Just brought my dog … this place is being used as a litter box for dogs. There is a bag and trash can station at the entrance with plenty of bags… so no excuses. Dog-friendliness The dog yard is full of dog poop.
