Mountains Edge Dog Park

We love the dogs that come to this park - they are playful and love the exercise. I’m giving 4 stars because there are no lights in the dog park area after sunset and there is no shade in the day time. Edited Aug 1, 2021: Lights have been added. The grass here is better than at most parks. It used to be overrun by dogs that would attack, but with the lights, there were also security cameras installed. Nipped that right in the bud! Dog owners are now more responsible and alert. Changed to 5 stars because this is one of the best dog parks in the Southwest. Hopefully they will eventually add shade for sitting areas like at the Bark Park in Henderson, but the trade off is getting to see some killer sunsets! What a great idea to start running all the sprinklers in the dog park at 830 to 900am. The best time to run sprinklers is when everyone starts to bring their dogs to the park. By all means, dont run them at 5am when nobody is there.

Nice to finally have a dog park! The entrance is a bit buried away though. You have to know it's there to know it's there.

My 4-month-old puppy at the time who'd had all his vaccination shots...the whole shebang I took him to be social at this dog park and two days later came down with a parasite of Giardia and Roundworm from drinking out of the community dog water bowls. No bueno! Very sad. Poor little dog is still sick because it takes several treatments to get rid of. Somebody there with their older dogs who had these parasites knowingy passed it on to a little pup whose immune system is still growing. No bueno. No more dog park! :(

Great place to bring your furry friend. Very well kept, and owners are pretty respectful in watching and controlling their pup and picking up their pups poop. Lots of areas that have poop bag stations that actually have bags. The maintenance person is regularly seen on premise cleaning out the potty can. 0:29

This dog park is great. One of the best here in Las Vegas. They are well taken care of and there are three different areas. One for small, medium, and large dogs. The people are very friendly and your pet will love this park. It is very safe and the surroundings are beautiful.

The slide is broken and blocked off by a middle grade keep that in mind and bringing your children here they're not going to have much fun at the playground. However the splash pad during the summer is great for kids.

We love it here. 3 different runs to keep dogs of the same stature together. They also have nice trails and sidewalks to walk around. A memorial wall of bricks also pays tribute to our fur babies whom have passed on. Restrooms Clean Picnic area Perfect

I go here because it's close to my home. The regulars in the morning are great for the most part, but as always, stay aware of your surroundings (humans and dogs included). It is a public space, so things do happen (confrontations between dogs or with other owners). I stopped going in the evening because it's not worth dealing with people who don't watch their dogs and let them do whatever/don't pick up after them. Definitely had to jump between dogs during dog fights because the owners weren't doing anything, which can get dangerous. HOA loves to shut off the water every now and then, so the park is sometimes waterless at the most pivotal times of the year to have water. Regardless, my dog loves to play, and he loves other dogs, so I'll keep coming.

most all the dog owners Monday through Friday take great responsibility for their animals and everyone is very friendly. The only time I’ve ever had issues going to this park after taking my dogs here for almost a year is that the weekend crowd can be a little bit shady. The regulars that go there bring toys and encourage their dogs to be kind and playful with others but occasionally on the weekend you can get somebody that wants their dog to be aggressive or they just don’t take responsibility for them. I will say in the large dog area that the grass is dying so they do need to open up the sprinklers and water a little bit more but other than that, there’s always a lot of dogs at this park, especially between the hours of nine AM and 12 or later on in the Evening Dog-friendliness tons of dogs to come to this park 0:19
