My Dog and Me

This is such a wonderful park! First of all, it's great to have a space where my reactive dog Loki can run off-leash to his heart's content, and I don't have to worry about seeing other dogs or people and can just relax and enjoy being with my dog rather than being vigilant and thinking about training opportunities. But I also really appreciate how well it's run as a business. The first time I went here, it was super clear exactly where to park, where the forms and payment box were, and where the entrance was. There's a double gate at the entrance as kind of an airlock to prevent escapes and have a smaller area for putting on harnesses or leashes. There are plenty of poop bags in case you forget one, a convenient place to dispose of them, lots of toys to play with, and the area is beautifully maintained. The online booking system is easy to use and very convenient. I can't recommend My Dog and Me highly enough!

This is a great place for my dog reactive dog to run free, sniff, play ball and have fun. Registration was easy, forms were simple, payment was reasonable, grounds are well maintained, water hose with bowl was provided, and nice quiet area. We both had a great time. It was a special experience for him. He's pooped now.

My dog is dog reactive so it was so nice to be able to let her off leash and not have to worry about other dogs being around. There were lots of trees to shade her from the sun. HUGE property. Peaches will be back. 😉

Great place to have fun with your dog. There is water for your dog and shade for the humans and dogs.

My son decided to have his wedding ceremony there. A small private gathering with their dog. It's a nice private area, fenced in and toys for the dogs. A nice alternative for dogs that don't play nice with other 4 legged pets. Restrooms None. But dogs have plenty of space. Ps. Encourage pet owners to clean up after their pets.

I foster dogs and we aren't allowed to take them to public dog parks for liability reasons. My Dog and Me is the perfect alternative. They get to run their little legs off and I get to enjoy an hour on a gorgeous farm. Make sure you spray yourself down really well with bug spray before going. I had it on and was still being bitten through my pants and shirt.

It’s ridiculous that I can’t give this park six stars out of five. Any dog owner with a pup who needs a little space will have the best day ever here. Don’t wait - go.

I love this place! Perfect private setting for my dogs to run and play. I have a hyper (non aggressive) Pitbull, and people can be mean to her in a public park setting. Here she can play with our Jack Russell and not be discriminated against.

My dogs have a blast every time they visit. The one is dog reactive, so it's great having a place to let her run free. There's a 15 minute buffer between time slots, so you rarely see other people or dogs. There's a lot of tall grass that they love sniffing and "hunting" in, plus plenty of mowed pathways for you to walk. I love their new entrance because your dogs have a small area to potty and remove their leashes before letting them run around. It's also reduced the amount of poop left behind in the park because dogs are doing it before going in. Plus it's great for having a smaller space to put your leashes back on before leaving if your dog doesn't want to leave. The park is big enough for the pups to run around, while not being so large that you'd lose a dog with poor recall (been there, haha). The fences are also tall (6'?) so that your dog is less likely to jump out if you have a jumper.

Awesome place for your dog to run around! I very much appreciate that they provide a place for my pup to have fun without having to be worried about her getting bowled over by a dog who can’t play well with others. Was in town for work and my girl had a ton of fun running in the inside section. Outside looked great too. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Madison. It’s clean, well maintained, they provide ideas about fun play/toys you can try. The inside area has agility equipment.

Great little private dog park. We took both our dogs here and they had plenty of space to run. Well maintained, with some tall grass for them to run in if you happen to have a grass shark like we do. We will be back for sure!

The park is great. I try to bring my dogs at least once a month. Can’t beat $20 for 45 minutes.

Great place! It is very well-maintained, has great space, and tons of fun for the pups. It's very nice that they have toys there, watering station, and all sorts of paths and different areas. Plus, there are dozens of spots with doggy bags to clean up after your pooch to keep the place clean. Fantastic idea and will definitely be back!

Great place! My shepherd loves having a big space to run and sniff as he pleases without having to worry about other dogs. Area is well maintained and there is a hose for water. Have not had a problem with the reservation process and everyone seems to adhere to their given time slot.

A great private dog park on the east side of Madison. We go here for meetups with new dogs. For example, my father in laws dog was spending a week at our place. To give our dog and his dog some time to bond we met here. There is an outside area and an inside area. Toys are provided, water is provided and cleanup tools when you need them. You check in for an hour for $20 for I think up to two dogs, three bucks more if you add more dogs. Check it out!

Great private dog park. Lots of space and it is really well kept. There are extra doggie bags from the poop fairy as well as some small doggie pools. Plenty of places for the humans to hang out as well.

My pup was a rescue so first time he was free off leash, perfect place for a safe adventure! Though I found he didn't care where I was..lol. Only thing was there were old dog holes in grass you couldn't see, was a little dangerous for hoomans. I recommend!

This is such a great idea and we appreciate that it exists! Our rescue dog has anxiety and we are not comfortable being around other dogs quiet yet and we don't have a fenced in yard. Coming here is awesome. We love that he can run freely. It's a great price and not to mention, beautiful! There are benches to sit, pools + a hose for water, a few toys if you don't bring your own, and the online registration is easy. It would be nice to pay online versus with cash or check upon arrival but the system in place is easy and straightforward as it is.
