New Wave Pier Dog Run

Really small and the sound from the highway above is DEAFENING. We can’t play with tennis balls because the fence is so low, even a slight bounce leads to the ball being lost to the highway. We’ve lost too many… Restrooms No restrooms anywhere nearby Picnic area Picnic tables just outside the dog run. Please don’t bring food into the run.

Owners do have to be responsible for their own dogs. My dog and I go there everyday and responsible pet parents are not on their phones and paying attention to their pets. It's hot out there, bring water. I always bring 1 gallon Everytime I go, dogs are thirsty and need to be hydrated, sharing is caring. as a pet parent we are their voices and mostly all of them just like attention. The park just opened up, and there are a lot of improvements which are coming. Instead of complaining, please chip in for some volunteer work Dog-friendliness There are a few dogs that are not friendly, but it is a public space. There are 2 sides to the run so if you run into an unfriendly go to the other side, or remove your furry friend and go back later. I would never put my dog in harms way

Barely a dog run. More like a cage with deafening road traffic

No water for the dogs except the huge puddle after it rains. Many dog owners bring vicious, untrained dogs that attack other dogs and dog owners. People stand in the middle and wonder why they get hit by balls. It’s a dog run people, get out of the way!! Small dogs ALWAYS in big dog section. PLEASE READ PHOTO TO SEE WHY THIS IS DANGEROUS!! People play with broken tennis balls that are filthy, don’t even bounce, and pose a choking hazard for all dogs in the dog run and mini balls that pose the same danger, especially for large dogs.

Great views and usually pretty empty! The poop bags are usually stocked, but the area is quite small and no grass.
