What a nice community park and swim spot! Nice green grass, flowers, and plants around the park. There's a small beach, birds, stunning views from the pier of the gorgeous water with boats going by. There are signs showing which fish can be caught from the pier. Dogs & pets are not welcome June 1 - September 15 so there were many dogs there today. This is a free swim spot but not today, Sept. 20. There are spots for 3 lifeguards. You can enter the water via a beach or there are 4 spots that you can walk down steps. into the water. There are free life jackets for you to use and return, I love that! There are restrooms, picnic tables, benches, a covered area that can be reserved, room for kids to play on the. grass plus play equipment. What a great park!

Peaceful park, and generally windy at night. Good for big gatherings and picnics. Quite enough parking spots all the time.

Nice place to swim, with sand! Lifeguards on duty, so no horseplay is acceptable. We almost saw two different families be kicked out for playing in the water roughly. Good amount of parking, but it looks like it gets really busy towards 3-4pm here. Also, no dogs allowed on the beach or in the water.

Absolutely beautiful park right by the water with plenty of picnic tables throughout and a big green lawn. There also a playground and a nice beach area for the kids

This park has convenient beach access, and nice view of the lake. It also has a big grass lawn that allows kids running around. Playground Playstructure is a little bit old and probably needs upgrade or refresh

This beach park is absolutely stunning — clean sand, clear water, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet walk, a family picnic, or just watching the waves. The view during sunset is breathtaking, and the breeze makes everything feel peaceful. Well-maintained and not too crowded. A hidden gem for anyone who loves nature and the ocean. 0:29

Decent park with a pretty good view of the water. Only rating it 3 stars because we weren’t allowed to go in to a certain part of the water and the part we could go in, was very small and crowded with children. The life guard was aggressive and rude when warning us. Another lady was also targeted because she was not allowed to bring her dog on the grass area??? Which makes no sense because other beaches and parks allowed dogs and people to go in all areas of the water! We probably won’t be back :) Dog-friendliness Not dog friendly

I recently visited Newcastle Beach Park with my family, including my 5-year-old child, and we had a fantastic time. The park is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of amenities with reserved area for visitors parties. We particularly enjoyed the playground, which had a great selection of equipment that was suitable for kids of all ages. My child had a blast playing on the swings, slides, and climbing structures, and we appreciated that there was plenty of shade to keep us cool on a hot day. The beach itself was also lovely, with soft sand and clean water. We enjoyed playing in the waves and building sandcastles, and there were plenty of benches and picnic tables available for us to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, I highly recommend Newcastle Beach Park for families with young children. It's a great place to spend a day, with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained and a beautiful beach to enjoy. We'll definitely be back!" 0:22

If you have children go when the lifeguards are on duty, if not find a better park. The lifeguards were bossy and didn’t allow us to go in certain areas to put our feet in the water. We didn’t wanna go near the sand because a bunch of kids were in that area. Another lady was approached by the lifeguard and was told she can’t have her dog in certain grass areas…not sure who hired these people, it almost seems like they don’t even know there own rules or are making up rules on the spot. Nonetheless it is a beautiful spot to relax, just not a fan of being told where I can and can’t go. It’s a beach…focus on actual children who are in the water. Restrooms Restrooms available Dog-friendliness Doesn’t seem dog Friendly. Picnic area Lots of benches and large grassy areas.
