Only dog park in the neighborhood so it has to make so. People are nice and dogs are.feiendly most of the time. Playground No water for the dogs, a concern we've raised with the city multiple times. Restrooms None Dog-friendliness Yes, but sometimes over 10. Picnic area Tables are there but no water.

Great local dog park. People are good about looking after their dogs and cleaning up after them. It is much bigger than the other local dog park and has plenty of space for bigger dogs to run around. Only complaint is that it will be a little muddy if it rained the day of or before your visit.

Our neighborhood dog park for two years. Our black lab loves this place. It can sometimes get crowded mid-mornings during the week due to professional dog walkers. Otherwise great crowd and well behaved dogs.

Friendly dog park. Gets very busy on weekends (especially in the morning) but is pretty chilled at other times. There are water dishes (though no water source), random toys strewn around the park, and usually there are poop bags available in the dispensers. Less gravelly and dusty than some of the other local dog parks.

Decent dog park with double gates for safety on two sides. Fairly long space of pebble/gravel. Folks are friendly there.

Good size area for dogs to run, the other dog owners were good and ready to intervene if dogs didn't get along. There's also benches and some areas of shade. Not my favorite dog park though because the ground barely has any gravel left, it's just dirt so dogs can get dirtier than usual. Also with all the holes that have been dug, if it has rained before then expect puddles. Wish there was a fountain or something to provide some water for the dogs. Nonetheless, it has what you need and your dog will have fun.

I usually love this dog park, but I had a terrible experience there this morning that other dog owners should know about. My dog Saxby and I were the only ones in the park when a maintenance truck (it said "United" on the side) pulled up on Putnam street. The maintenance worker proceeded to unlock the fence and left it wide open. Of course my dog was curious and ran over, and the maintenance worker got scared and didn't even try to stop him when he ran through the gate. Fortunately Saxby didn't get hit by a car, but he easily could have. Dog owners beware, and let's make sure this doesn't happen again.

There's room for your dogs to run around and play, and the location is conveniently down the street from Union Square. There's some benches for people to sit on, and some tennis balls to play fetch. It's not my favorite park, but it's a pretty good one.

It's big and open with a few tables to sit at. Nothing special but it gets the job done and allows the dogs to run around. I would avoid after rain since your pup will come home filthy.

Great to have an off leash location, wish it wasn't entirely dirt. Dogs love the holes under the tables

It's fine. Big enough, but gets a lot of traffic and can be a bit of a stinky mess when the city doesn't keep up on maintenance. Benches and tables have been partially buried by crush stone refills, and there's very little shade, so people comfort is low. It's good for locals, but I wouldn't travel to visit this park.

Beautiful park with really advanced fences to keep dogs in and (glory! Hallalujah!) Porta-potties. At least they did when I was there. The public bathroom shortage is really bad in the city, even out in Union Square, so it was a relief (literally) to see their portable bathrooms in surprisingly clean, working order. Thanks, Nunziato. Neighbors are clearly proud of the place and work to keep it clean and free of trash. Would highly recommend for a stroll or really anything.

I absolutely do not recommend going here with your furry family. The people that frequent this park are extremely entitled and condescending towards others. Greeted with a distasteful welcome by the regulars of the park. Leading to my puppy being attacked by another dog, the owner of this dog made excuses as to why the dog would attack my puppy. Saying it was because of pheromones and the fact my puppy wasn't neutered. This person was very inconsiderate towards the fact their dog attacked my puppy as well as another dog that came into the park after I had entered. The people here have made this park a place to stay away from. Please for anyone reading this go out of your way to find another park, I assure you it will be worth it.

It's small. Can get crowded but for the most part dogs manage and get along. No grass. Water gets contaminated easily. My dog got a mean bought of diarrhea after coming here. Do better Boston! We love our dogs!

Great place with great dogs! Really enjoy coming here because there's always at least a couple other dogs, plenty of toys, and plenty of space to run around. One thing to be mindful of: it gets pretty dusty during a dry spell, so wearing a mask is a nice solution.

I went here today for the for the first time with my six-year-old rescue dog and my puppy who is about midsize. Before I even get into the park, some lady is being extremely condescending and rude to other dog walkers in the area, screaming at us, saying shut the gate before you let the other dogs in which I understand, but it was extremely rude There was a lot of dogs here on this particular day, but I’ve never had a problem with my puppy playing with bigger dogs ever in fact he loves bigger dogs My puppy was attacked by one of the most careless dog owners I’ve ever seen only for her to blame it on pheromones or the fact that he wasn’t fixed . extremely disgusting to appoint the blame on my puppy when her dog was also attacking one other dog that had come into the park . So the lady with tattoos, whose dog attacked my midsize puppy today, don’t bring him to the park anymore . He’s a danger to everyone ! Thanks ! Everyone in this area seems to be extremely snobby / unattended about their dogs half of these people that bring their dogs to the park shouldn’t be dog owners:)

The dog park is small and not especially clean or nice. That being said, it’s still a nice little community spot.

During the day dog walkers bring their dogs there. When i went with my dog around noon, I was only there for less than 3 min. All the other dogs would surround my dog and bark at her. There were 4 people but one looked like he was the owner of the company. Two of them had shirts on for a dog walking company, and one lady looked like she was with them. I was too scared for my dog and had to take her out of there so I didn't catch the name of the dog walking company. There is only a 3 dog max per person so I don't know how dog walkers can bring all their dogs there. I think the animal control should drive around and give tickets to these dog walkers.

This is a decent space for dogs to run off-leash. It's a gravel/dirt park, so be prepared to wash your pup afterwards. There are picnic tables and plenty of space to spread out and trash cans for disposing of waste.

Would be good if water was available, but owners are good about bringing it in and putting in the bowls. A bit dingy, but what is to be expected? Heavily used and a great resource to allow your dog a chance to run and wrestle.
