A beautiful park south of Burlington on Lake Champlain with part rocky, part sandy lake shore. There is a beautiful pavilion, and volleyball court. Presumably watching sunset there is very beautiful. Parking is not free but rather $2 per hour.

Today we stopped at Oakledge Park and were so taken back by the beauty. There are tons of little play areas, numerous picnic benches under a shaded gazebo, a workout station center overlooking the water, and the stairs leading down to the water and beach. I spent the most time down there looking for some rocks and enjoying the peacefulness of the water. Definitely a stop you should make if you are in VT. Playground Little groups of play equipment were spread out across the park, making it nice for parents to give the kids a little variety Picnic area There were a ton of picnic tables under a gazebo 0:27

Came here to go on a little walk, check out the tree house, and play some soccer. Did all 3. Beach was closed cuz of bacteria. Maybe the best part is the all-accessible spinning wheel on the playground.

A beautiful and scenic spot that I really enjoyed. I went to enjoy the sunset but was unable to because where it sets it was covered by trees. It was beautiful though and allowed for me to just take in the moment. There is great options that allow people to do different things at the location. There are wheelchair accessible options.

Awesome park with lots of little private areas to the beach. The earth clock is pretty cool, and seems accurate! The treehouse is nice and has a good view. The main beach area is pretty big, and it's fairly clean. There's another area way off to the side that is rockier, but appealing. Popular park. There is a lot to do here!

Came to enjoy some fresh spring air and to relax. Great place to do both! Please go slow coming in and out of the entrance to the park, as well as the “driveways” to the parking areas. Thanks!

It's a beautiful park/ beach, but now it costs $25 to park for the day. AND you have to use the app to pay. You can't pay at the booth or there aren't any coin terminals to put change in. NOT everyone has an app or card to use. I don't think it's fair to lower funds families!!! I would have given 5☆s but parking is a big thing.

This is a great place to chill. There is a lot to do. You can walk, play, bike, hang out at a small beach, clear waters, see some history, and picnic. The only drawback is the "Artwork" tags around the park. Not a deal breaker but it can spoil the view a bit. Overall a great stop.

Went there for the total eclipse. The staff handled it really well! They managed the parking well. Plenty of restroom facilities that were cleaned during the event. I needed an Allen wrench for my camera rig, and the staff worker Tom loaned me one. The total eclipse was amazing. The folks who came were enthusiastic and well behaved. Kudos to the town of Burlington and the folks who manage Oakledge park. The earth clock is really cool too. Playground Multiple playgrounds with plenty of happy kids Dog-friendliness Lots of dogs at the eclipse event seemed to have a great time. Picnic area Lots of fun places to picnic..

If you are a tourist, the park is decent. Nothing extraordinary to be sure. However, please post better signage for parking. I always pay when I see the parking signs. However, I must have missed here resulting in a $20 ticket (not including the $3+ “convenience” fee). Despite being able to pay online, in person or by mail; you can only appeal in person on a court date, which VT knows that tourists can’t do. Seems another way VT is trying to squeeze every dollar they can. Do yourself a favor and just got to NH instead. Better foliage, better atmosphere, definitely better parks and hiking and less bs.

Fantastic park with great pavilions, volleyball courts, bike path, gorgeous waterfront, beautiful sunsets over Lake Champlain. We've had cookouts, pickup games, nice runs and walks and everything in between. Dog friendly! Also a great tree house and well maintained fields! This is one of the best parks around!

The treehouse is cool to see and there is a walking path that is quite nice. Just be careful of people on bikes as it is a shared pathway. The other end of the walking path has a nice beach and great water views. Very relaxing and sunset vibe.

🌳 Oakledge Park is a beautiful spot with great lake views and plenty of space to explore. 🌊 The scenery is hard to beat, especially at sunset. It can get pretty crowded during peak times, which makes it feel less relaxing, but it’s still worth a visit for the views and trails. 🛶 A solid choice for a peaceful walk or picnic if you catch it on a quieter day.

It’s a nice place to park for the Island Line Trail. Turning left onto the trail from the parking area takes you to mile marker 0.0 so it's a great place to start your ride. It's roughly 13 miles to the free bike ferry on the causeway. Parking is hourly by tag number unless you have a handicap placard. After October parking is free. In September 2025 the restrooms were just a row of portable toilets as the restrooms looked to be under renovations. Picnic area Multiple pavilions for picnics.

A beautiful park in any season. The freshly fallen snow covered the paths as I walked through the the winter wonderland. Check out the trails that lead to the water for amazing views. There were a few other people braving the cold with dogs close by. A great dog friendly place. 0:09

The Burlington Earth Clock is the star of this park in my opinion. However, this is not to downplay the brand new universally accessible playground of the park's unique accessible tree house! An excellent park to visit to watch sunset over Lake Champlain.

FANTASTIC PARK! Lots of paved bike and walking paths and the children’s playground area had inclusive equipment and was adjacent to a fitness area. While there were walked to both the Treehouse and Earth Clock. There were Bocci ball and volleyball courts along with wide open fields for any activity. It’s clean, beautifully maintained and has shady spaces with picnic tables and grills.

Super cool sunset view point. The sight of the sun going into the water is superb. It is so colorful and the reflections of the changing colors in the water and the cloud are eye catching. Must visit place to relax and just be yourself. You could just sit on the benches on the walking trail near the edge of the water and would enjoy the view for hours. People were playing soft musical instruments as the sun was setting. There is also an earth clock at this place. 0:14
