Last couple times we went no dogs. This time we had to leave because of an aggressive Pitty. Keep trying to give them and their owners the benefit of doubt and then they go after my dogs without provocation. If your dogs are aggressive the dog park is not for them. Otherwise well groomed, clean with water and nice size

Don’t bring your dogs here. I dog whose owner lives in Playa Del Rey, was just fatally attacked while the owners did nothing and even threatened violence. A good samaritan had to call 911 to help out and then, only then the owners with the violent dog left. It’s not worth risking your dog’s life to go to this park; between the wood chips and people like this, there are many other better parks around here.

There's a small dogs side and big dogs side, but with human/dog water fountains and a regularly restocked bag disposal unit with trash next to it. Great space for both sides. Peek hours are after work before sunset when people stop by after work

Our pup loves this spot! Perfect size to tire her out playing fetch and it’s well maintained.

Large dog park with wood chips. I recommend wearing shoes here or else you will get splinters on your feet! Plenty of benches for people to sort and many trash cans. There’s two sides to the dog park. Poop bags are provided which is amazing because the park is free!!

This is a great, neat park! I love the woodchips as they are cleaner and softer for my pupper's pawsies. There was also plenty of parking and the entrance was nice. I wish they had pooper scoopers instead of baggies though. There was a few poops people left there.. Maybe they didn't have bags? Either way it was a clean park so I'd definitely go again.

Not too big, but very well maintained dogpark. Good amount of shade and plenty of benches on the perimeter. Great fountain for the doggies to drink at, but nothing for the people to drink from nor any spiggots to fill your own bowls, etc.

I like having a local dog park. And it's nice that the small and big dog parks are separate (since we have a small dog). But the wood chips are the worst. My dog and some of the other small guys don't like running around on them, which defeat the purpose of a dog park. I've even seen dogs get a piece of the wood chips stuck in their toes, which is clearly painful! I wish Playa Vista would change it to grass or even dirt.

Nice, clean, quiet small dog side of the park. Friendly people. And water bowls n fountains of water for dogs. Almost always has pkg. Big dog side, has been way to many fight between agressive dogs n theres never a security to monitor it or step in to ask the people to leave.

Was a great park, but as of Labor Day they added cedar wood chips. Wood mulch is toxic for dogs, also it carries mold. Furthermore, it splinters into their paws. Avoid.

I went with my dog two times.. the first time it was great good experiences and nice dogs and nice owners. Second time today a big agressif Alpha German Shepherd almost kill my dog it was horrible and the worst part is that nobody said anything. I had to tell the owner to bring back his beast to order and saw that his agressive dog was doing the same to new dogs coming into the playground. So I don’t think I will bring my dog back there unfortunately because of only one bad dog. They should be law when a dog demonstrates such agressif behavior over and over again. Very bad experiences for everyone there to see.

Clean, quiet, and large enough for dogs of all sizes. Not usually crowded, so it's possible your dog won't have any playmates depending on what time you go.

I love this dog park!! If you're jogging by you can see cute dogos running around and being their goofy selves. They also have a lot of trash cans and doggy bags to clean up after your pets. I wish we had one of these in my hood :(

Well maintained off leash dog park divided into big and small dog areas. Park provides doggie bags to clean up after your puppy! Only had one incident of owner not paying attention their aggressive dog. Other than that incident, we've had a great time going to this dog park. There are trees around the perimeter to provide shade for humans and dogs alike as well as plenty of benches to sit and rest. The park itself is covered in mulch but lately it's been looking a little bare exposing the sandy dirt below, which does get kicked up into the air when dogs run through the exposed areas. Plenty of free street parking available just in front of the park as well as a giant lot across the street, which hosts a farmer's market on Saturdays and parking could be an issue that day.

This is a great dog park, much better than the one in Venice. There are two sides (large dogs/small dogs), and several benches for owners to hangout while dogs play. There's also a nice doggy water fountain, and free bags for picking up after your pet.

This is a nice, simple dog park where my pooch can play and stretch his legs. The humans that I see here are overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. I've only seen one dangerous dog here and that was months ago. Some people don't like the woodchip surface but I have no trouble with it since I wear real shoes when I go there. The dog has no issue with it either. Playa Vista staff keep it clean.

We love this park because it is so close to home and kept very clean by the local P&R department. The surrounding area is very pretty. The mulch might leave our puppers' paws in need of a clean, but it's much better than sand-based parks where we ALL need a bath after every visit.

I bring my husky here every so often but they added more big wood chips over the dirt they used to have. In my opinion is kind of 50/50 my husky had a few splinters in his paws from it, but he doesn't seem to mind till we get home. Sometimes I bring him late afternoon and he has the park to run free and alone but he has some other dog play friends. I preferred the old terrain. I also kind of don't like that some dogs here aren't fixed had a few issues before a few years ago with fights and a little aggression. Also don't really like that some owners bring tiny dogs into the big side and it causes some issues at times even though they have a smaller dog area next to the bigger side. My dog plays a little hard and growls (so do some others)because it's husky nature but he becomes hyper around smaller dogs and he to be honest isn't the only one that chases them and then there becomes panic over this. It's not a bad park most owners are responsible and friendly. They have benches to sit and poo bags for pick up. Over all it's not a bad dog park.

This is a small dog park that is divided in to two dirt arenas. One is for small dogs, the other for larger breeds. There are benches in each area shaded by trees. The park is located in a high density area.
