Park is not fenced despite older reviews -it was temporary to regrow grass only. Park is the best in the area with river access.

Well maintained off leash dog park. Looking forward to warmer weather so there's less mud! Restrooms Unfortunately, some of the bathrooms are still closed. Dog-friendliness Most pet parents do a great job monitoring their babies! Picnic area There are picnic tables throughout the park. Even though there are tables in the off leash area, I don't recommend trying to use them. Unless you're willing to share~ πŸ˜†

This is a great off leash dog park. It has a lot of trails for on leash and then a large open field that is boarder with a walking path so if you want to let your fury friends play off leash and walk around you have a nice path. In the rainy months it's sometimes a little muddy but thats part of dog life. Summer months are very nice. There is a pool and water buckets and a hose for clean water.

Several areas for small, large and combinations of dog size. Double gates to get in (no loose dogs). Nice places to sit out of the rain/sun. Easy access from parking lot. Water bowels and spigots.

I do love this dog park so much! However, there are a few dog owners that bring their reactive dogs here.. please don't bring your reactive dogs to this off leash dog park if you dont have the tools or the training to trust your dog around other dogs. My dog has been attacked by a border collie which resulted in a vet visit. Owner refused to leash her dog and refused to give me her info. Dog then attacked another dog. She still comes to the park..

We love this dog park and have had overwhelmingly positive experiences with both dogs and owners here. It can get muddy in the winter, but when it's fairly dry, it's great! It isn't fenced in, but there are trees and brush around the perimeter that keep it fairly contained. There is a 1/3 mile trail around the dog park, but there are also miles of trails in the rest of Mary S. Young, if you feel like hiking. There is also an off-leash area at the river if your furry friend wants to swim. It really is a lovely park and we highly recommend it! Restrooms They have restrooms, they're usually clean and well stocked. Dog-friendliness It's a dog park, so it's very dog friendly. The rest of the park is great for walking your pooch on a leash Picnic area There are a number of picnic tables all over this place. Some are covered and some are not.

AKA Mary S. Young Park. My dogs love it here. Running loose on the huge grassy area. Meeting new dogs - it's practically a competition to see who can sniff the most butts! Haha!! The park is not fenced, but it's well away from the main road. There's water and poop bags. No bathrooms for people. A few picnic tables, covered and not, some trees for shade, and a walking path around the perimeter. There are also a few trails, but those are leash-required. Tons of free parking. Playground There's not one Restrooms None Dog-friendliness It's for the dogs! A place to run off-leash and socialize Picnic area There are a few picnic tables, but I wouldn't count on getting one to yourself. Plus it's an off-leash park so you'd be surrounded by dogs looking to share in no time!

A great, awesome, fantastic, place not just for dogs, you meet supporting people that turn into friends! This was the 1st time Belle went into the river! She loved it a lot! This is the 2nd time we've been here! Playground I haven't seen one, so I'm not sure if there is or not. I haven't gone looking to see if there might be anything near the picnic 🧺 areas. Yes there is: except it doesn't have swings, or a slide, it has different types of trees 🌴 to climb on, under, around, over; then you start all over again! Yes this area is by the main picnic area. If you head to the right, you will see it, look at the pictures I took, you will see the area! There are 4 pictures. Restrooms Yes they have them! They are better maintained than the rest stops on the hwys! That's a good thing! They are to the left ⬅️ of the picnic area. Dog-friendliness Most all owners of their dogs keep them in line, I haven't had any problems with my girl. They have 3 or 4 kiddy pools for you to use on the nice, warm, hot πŸ”₯πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΄ days for everyone to cool off. They have buckets to fill with water 🌊 πŸ’¦ so that you can take them to where you are sitting & playing with your 4 legged kids! They have picnic tables throughout the area to: have a picnic, just sit & talk to friends, make new friends, bring a blanket & pop a squat πŸ˜€ Picnic area In the pictures of that area, there are lots of tables to use. There was a Birthday party πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³πŸŽ‚πŸ° going on at the time, so I didn't get closer to the area, it looks like they have a big covered patio area, in case it might rain, β˜” hhhmmm, go figure for being in Oregon, 😏 LOL I'm not sure what is available for use in the covered patio area for your group. I do know that you probably will need to get some kind of permit, since it is a State Park. 🏞️ There was several soccer games being played at the main area of the Park. As we were leaving, there was a line of cars waiting to get into the 1st parking lot πŸ…ΏοΈ. I asked him what it was all about, there was going to be a Drive In Movie that night.🍿πŸŽ₯ πŸ˜€ That would have been fun to attend myself, except I didn't know what was playing. Lots of good πŸ‘ 😊 things happening at the Park today! You can even take several trails to the Willamette River, where everyone can get cooled off! Plan your day, hours, minutes at the whole Park before the snow comes! β„οΈπŸŒ¨οΈ πŸ‘πŸ˜€πŸ’œ
