I had a rambunctious 3 year old hound dog. I was going in for surgery and decided to double up and board her while having her trained. Estivin did an awesome job with Lucy. He kept us informed each day with text messages and videos of her progress. When he brought her back to us on the last day, he thoroughly explained what he had covered in the two weeks. He watched us walk her and worked with us handling her behaviors. He has kept up in asking how she is doing once a week. Overall, we are extremely pleased with Off the Leash and especially Estivin! Took out 3yr old Staffy to work with Off Leash K9 and let me say, Wow!!! Opted for the 2wk board and train to address impulse control, leash reactivity, and appropriate way of meeting others (no jumping). We put our 10 months old American Bulldog through a 2 week obedience training. It was an amazing transformation! The trainer Erinn is excellent. We handed her an unruly dog and 2 weeks later we got back an obedient dog. I have told everyone about how it’s worth every penny. I strongly recommend Off leash K9 Training of Tampa..

Ive been a dog owner for over 20 yrs, haves had pit bulls, labs and chihuahua, little dogs are crazy jus sayn! Lol but have always been able to train my dogs and we recently got another lab from our breeder. Got him as a puppy and for over a year him and the 3 yr old lab were fine until one day got i. A horrible fight and we decided to get him training. Found this place through Google spoke with the head guy. We talked for over 45 minutes, in the end he made me feel like they could deal with his aggression issue. Before this I spoke to multiple people doing different things but I like there options. They just didn't fit either what we wanted or location. These people have multiple locations to make it easier for you.We chose for a 14 day program of intense off leash on leash and behavior training. Our trainer was absolutely great, liked him from the 1st meet. He was super calm and very professional kept me informed every day with either a video or a message. They take the dogs tonparks and different locations to help them with sounds and leash control. When I tell you he came home calm, without aggression issues with our other lab can walk on a leash with NO pull! It has been great to walk him and take him to Lowes without him pulling or reacting to people or loud noises. Used to tell him maybe 100 times a day to lay down. Now one word if need be and he lays right down. Much more calm and content. He has confidence now and not nervous pr scared. We are definitely thinking about putting our 3 yr old lad in training just because the 1st one came back so well trained. He learned commands that I had not been able to get across. Would recommend theses guys to anyone looking for help with there dogs, big or small! Worth every penny ! We had our Doberman trained by Ernie for two weeks! What an amazing difference. Cosmo is 8 months now and he really does creat at obeying our commands, not getting distracted by other dogs or people and staying within the bound which we place on him. Example: when we have dinner he goes to his place and stays on command while we eat. After dinner, we allow him up on the couch with us to watch TV…he thinks he is a lap dog at 60lbs lol. He also loves ridding in our open jeep and is always well behaved and confident around other animals and people. Ernie did a fantastic job with training Cosmo and us in all his commands. Cosmo is still a puppy, and not perfect at everything, but the training made a world of difference for our family of 2 dogs and 2 cats. Thank you Ernie! We did our 2 week board and train in Denver and a refresher training in Tampa with Estivin. We were still struggling with loose leash walking and heel about 2 months after the board and train so we did a refresher training with Estivin. Estivin was so great! He used the perfect combination of positive reinforcement and correction. Our dog responded to his training style immediately and has made huge gains after just one refresher session. My wild child amazing doodle duo have been running the house for years ! Little did I know I was doing it all wrong !!! These two have never been able to walk on a leash or have great listening ears unless bribed with food for their entire lives ! 5 years old and 3 years old ! I have never been able to bring them out in public together without fear we run into another dog, bunny, or squirrel and I get pulled over . Estivin made me feel so comfortable leaving them with him. He spent lots of time explaining the training with me on day one . He also provided daily updates. I knew my boys would be a challenge! Estivin encouraged me every single day that they were making progress and even brought them to my apartment at the half way point ! This half way training was amazing for myself and made me confident I would be able to continue the proper training for them . He gave me some great pointers that I could think about for another week while the boys finished up their second week of training. Estivin’s calm demeanor, certainly was acquired by my boys when they arrived home . I could never imagine the wrongs I was doing to myself and my dogs by having them as untrained as I did prior to off leash training. They are now thriving off leash never leaving my side and our walks are enjoyable ! I no longer worry about dogs, squirrels, or bunny’s! The training Estivin provided is worth every penny ! My husband and I just recently had a baby boy and our 5 yr old lab was very apprehensive and high energy when we brought him from the hospital. He is also pulls really bad when taking him on walks. We looked into extensive training and that’s when we found Estivin with off leash k9. We did the 2 week board and train program and we have only amazing things to say about Estivin. He gave us all the tools we need and he sent daily updates of our dogs along with pictures. A friend of mine suggested OLK9 for my Great Dane puppy. When we started working with our trainer, Erinn, Duke was 6 almost 7 months old and getting big. He loves playing even getting a little too rough. He often got distracted on walks and barked very loudly when he wanted something. Now, he’s 8 months old and he walks beside me without getting distracted by other people or dogs. He still plays like he used to but much more gentle. Our last training lesson was inside a Lowe’s and even though he seemed a little nervous at first, he quickly got better adjusted to seeing people walk past him with or without a noisy cart. Erinn was a great trainer for Duke. She was super patient with him towards the end of our first lesson when he just didn’t want to listen. After having these lesson with Erinn, I’m more confident that, with some more practice, I’ll be able to take Duke with me to some places instead of leaving him at home and not have to worry about whether he’ll be well behaved or not. Doing this training was definitely the best thing I could’ve done for Duke and myself and I would 100% recommend OLK9 to anyone who needs to train their dog. I had an outstanding 2 week board & train experience with Estivin at Off Leash K9 Training Tampa. My dog, Roscoe, was reactive to dogs on walks. He would bark, lunge, go on hind paws, pull, etc. We couldn’t even ride the elevator in my apartment building due to his reactivity. Roscoe came back a completely well-behaved, responsive, autonomous dog! He responds to the gentlest leash pressure, isn’t pulling, keeps himself composed around other dogs, and is a complete joy to be around. We’ve been able to ride the elevator with other dogs. Even when other dogs are lunging and barking at him, he is able to keep his composure. I never thought we could make this type of progress. I feel so much more confident bringing him in public and doing basic activities of daily life with him! Estivin went above and beyond for us. He came to my apartment complex to ensure Roscoe did well on the elevator, sent daily progress pictures and videos, and gave me the tools and confidence to continue training Roscoe. Seeing how well behaved Roscoe was in the videos at Armature Works, The Shops at Wiregrass, etc. instilled the trust I needed to take Roscoe in public. Our quality of life has improved drastically. Estivin has even followed up and answered all of my questions in great detail on how to handle certain situations. 1000% recommend Estivin without a single hesitation. We had an amazing experience with Estivin of OffLeash K9 training!! From the very start there was constant communication between Estivin and myself letting us know how Ranger was doing and and sending daily pictures or videos showing us what they were doing and the progress our dog was making! Sending him away for 2 weeks was a very hard decision to make but I’m so happy we did! We didn’t expect a completely different dog but the progress Estivin made with Ranger in those 2 weeks is incredible! Trainer Ernie is Tampa's Dog Whisperer! The transformation in our 4 year-old Lagotto after his two week board-and-train with Ernie was remarkable. Our sweet family dog was struggling with anxiety-based reactivity, and Ernie immediately identified this as a confidence issue. He focused on getting our dog to relax, be curious, and develop impulse control skills. After two weeks with Ernie, he's now calm and carefree at home and while out and about! We utilized Off Leash K9 Training for two of our dogs. We were looking to create more structure and obedience, as we have three dogs and they are a bit wild. Our newest addition, has some past trauma from before we adopted him and he hadn't ever had much training. He also had some leash reactivity which we were becoming increasingly concerned about. Him and our other male were having some issues, and our most prominent goal with training was to create a home environment both male dogs can live in happily. With this in mind we elected to enroll him in a two-week board and train with Estivin. As a self-proclaimed obsessive dog mom I was very nervous about him being away, but it was truly such a great experience! Estivin sent daily photos, videos, and write ups of his progress. We looked forward to this daily and loved seeing how happy Captain was every day to be training to be such a good boy. In the meantime, our other male dog was attending advanced training sessions, so both boys would know all the same commands. When captain came home from training, the transition to daily ecollars was a bit tough but we have all fallen into a great routine. The night Captain came back me Estivin spent nearly 2 hours walking us through all of the details, structures, and commands we would need to help Cap be successful. I can honestly say Estivin has made it possible to keep all of our dogs in our home and the training has been life changing. I would definitely recommend OLK9! I signed my baby girl Rosie up for the 2 week board and train package on recommendation of my friends who had sent their dog to this same training school. I signed her up several months in advance as they begin training at 6 months old. Rosie started this at exactly 6 months old and her trainer was Erinn. Erinn did an excellent job training Rosie I couldn’t believe how much she learned in 2 weeks being she is just a puppy. I would get daily text updates and pictures of Rosie in training which I really appreciated. We met at Lowes at the end and Erinn was excellent at instructing me how to use all the commands Rosie had been taught. I plan to use this school again when I get a boy puppy eventually. We have a 10 month Jack Russell Terrier who liked to "knipped" us and not follow orders. Somehow she believed she was in charge of us. We contacted Off Leash K9 Training Tampa and contracted them for the two week dog board training program. I must admit at first I was uneasy with the "process". We immediately paid 1/2 directly from our checking account and tried to take advantage of the 6 months "same as cash" for the other 1/2. However, the flaw there is it only came up with the full price to finance and I could not change it. Therefore, 2 days later, I had the second 1/2 taken from my checking account. We were asked to sign a contract, however we did not receive an executed contract, which left us in a state of uneasiness. I had a great conversation with the local office and felt so much better. The day before drop off, we received the executed contract. Then we dropped off our JRT. Ernie was her trainer. Everyday we received a text video with her activity of the day. Ernie showed her so much love and affection and she really did incredibly well. After the command training was over, Ernie took her on field trips to busy stores and she was so well behaved and attentive to his commands. Ernie will always have a special place in our hearts. We picked up our baby and she has been home for 3 days. YES, there is allot of training for us as well. However, we are most grateful for Ernie taking such good care with her and her training. She truly is a changed dog and we are working regularly to bring forward the training she received. Just remember, as owners we all have to modify our behavior as well and Ernie took great care to share that with us at pickup. We had our 2 dogs (staffy & mini bernedoodle) trained & boarded by/with Ernie for 2 weeks. The difference in our dogs behavior and mannerisms have made a world of a difference. Our staffy used to not like our mini bernedoodle and now they can coexist and roam in the same room without fear of one harming the other. We are so pleased with the progress they’ve made. THANK YOU ERINN & OLK9!! Our year and a half old German Shepherd, Max just graduated from his 2 week board and train with Erinn. Knowing my dog, I knew without a doubt he would be amazing with training and he’d learn quick. But of course I was a little skeptical knowing his stubborn personality and attitude at times. Max was enrolled in training mainly to assist with his on/off leash walking. He’s a strong boy with a HIGH prey drive and very easily distracted! From the first time we met Erinn at drop off to the day we picked up Max, Erinn was and still is very helpful and informative and makes you feel at ease with the process. She remained in constant communication with my husband and I to provide updates, pictures and videos throughout the weeks (BTW SHE TAKES THE BEST PICTURES!!) When spending time with Erinn at pick up to learn all the new commands and watch Max as he showed off all his new skills, I was impressed. I was a proud dog mom! The confidence I have walking Max today compared to just two weeks ago has changed DRASTICALLY thanks to Erinn,and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you live in or around the New Port Richey area, I highly recommend booking with Moriah. She was an amazing board and trainer for our dog Ares! She has an extensive list of qualifications, and I'm glad we went with her. She kept us at ease with daily pictures, videos, and updates. She has a great location that is very spacious and even had horse jumps that Ares loved jumping. She took him on field trips to refine his skills in public, and once his training was complete, she spent plenty of time training us on how to use the Ecollar and maintain his training. Absolutely Life-Changing Experience – Thank You, Estivin! We can’t believe how lucky we are to have found Estivin! Leaving our 4-month-old puppies, Remi and Kali, for the first time was nerve-wracking. However, from the moment we met Estivin and his family, we knew they were in the best possible hands. He took the time to walk us through everything, answered all our questions, and immediately put us at ease. During their week of boarding and training, Estivin consistently updated us with photos and videos showing the puppies’ progress. Within just two days, we were completely blown away by how much they had already learned! The foundation he laid was nothing short of incredible. I knew we had to do something with our dog, Callie. She's two years old and she just didn't want to listen very well. She showed a little resource guarding. We did not like this at all. At first I was going to do the eight week once a week session. And then I thought about it a lot. And I decided to do the two-week immersion with a pro trainer. I am so grateful that I got Estivin as Callie's trainer. He is simply amazing! Not only is he so patient, his communication skills with us were exceptional. He kept us informed of Callie's progress and send daily updates and pictures. That made me feel so much less anxious not having her home. I knew that this was the best thing for her. When Callie came home, Estivin spent 2 to 3 hours with us explaining everything to us and helping us understand how to train her like he had trained her so that we would all be on the same page. Callie it's like a different dog now. She's not anxious . She's completely off trazodone. She knows how to just chill out. She is not resource guarding at all. She's sleeping well in her own kennel. And overall she's just walking well and understanding what it is she needs to do. We just love her! Estivin also told us that he would help us anytime we would need him for any type of training.
