Park has 2 separate areas for small and big dogs. The areas are on the small size with respect to the space to run. Looks like it would the areas will hold water if it had recently rained. A pretty big section in the large dog area is dirt. Very tight parking area, with only a few spaces. We were the only ones here. This park that will work if you’re in a pinch to let your pup stretch its legs. If not, I would recommend you choose a different dog park.

I have been going to this dogpark almost daily for the past six months and it is great. My dogs love it. It is small, but can comfortably hold somewhere around 15 dogs, it's rarely that busy though. Improving it is a community effort, in the past they have fixed up the water area, put down a stone path so you're not walking through the mud and dug drainage lines. Will be even better once the grass really starts coming in!

It was my boys first time at a dog park and it went well in my opinion.its a nice quiet park in a nice area. Titus decided to take a dip in the water bucket much to his brother (little foot) disapproval but they enjoyed it

Great dog park. Just the right size to discourage huge crowds. We went Saturday afternoon on a beautiful 75 degree day and there were only 2 small dogs in the small dog side, and 3 in the large dog side (before we arrived with our 3). Plenty of parking (including shady spots) both on the park side as well as behind the Bellaire Animal Pound. The small dog park could use some agility obstacles like they have in the large dog (over 40 lbs) park, but it had a shaded picnic table and good space. The large dog park has a nice agility course and plenty of length to throw frisbees and balls to give your pup a nice bit of exercise. There is plenty of shade and places to sit. There’s water fountains on both sides and owners seem pretty good about cleaning up after their pups. Plenty of waste bags and 💩 picker uppers. Will definitely be back!

I brought my dog Padme here & it was important for her to play separated from other dogs because she's late learning her social skills. There was PLENTY of room for her to run and play, including a hose to bathe her & and poop bags. The park was extremely clean and wasn't too busy for us. We had an amazing day, and I'm grateful for this wonderful little park since I live in an apartment. There is plenty of room for several dogs at once to run & play.

This park is disgusting. You’re either stepping in mud or dog crap because nobody picks up after their dogs.

Seems like a well taken care of park. Places to sit and lots of hydration options for the puppers. Good size yard with lots of options for all dogs

Small park area —nicely tucked into a calm area. My dog appreciates the squirrels on the trees just outside the fence! Also has some agility obstacles.

I recently visited the dog park near my house, and while it has some great features, my experience was marred by the behavior of a few individuals. First, the park itself is quite lovely. It's well-maintained, with plenty of shade for both dogs and their owners. I appreciate the clean environment and the overall layout, which makes it a nice spot for dogs to socialize and play. However, I encountered a significant issue with some of the other park-goers. On several visits, particularly in the afternoons, I noticed a cliquish atmosphere. Many of the regulars seem to act like they own the place, and unfortunately, their behavior can be quite rude. During one visit, I was told that my polite and calm teenage son, who is 5’7”, wasn’t allowed in as there is a "no kids allowed" policy. This was surprising and unnecessary, especially since he was well-behaved and left everyone and their dogs alone. More troubling was an incident with my dogs. My older dog can be vocal but is non-aggressive, while my 11-month-old puppy is energetic and playful. When a new dog entered the park, my dogs, eager to welcome the newcomer, unintentionally overwhelmed him. I tried to manage the situation by moving my older dog away to avoid scaring the new arrival. However, the owners of the new dog jumped to conclusions, misinterpreting my puppy’s enthusiasm as aggression and even resorting to kicking her. This was shocking behavior, and when I defended my puppy, a woman from the clique chimed in, further escalating the situation. It's disheartening to see that if you're not part of their group, you risk facing unfair treatment or even aggression from others. I've read similar complaints from other visitors, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. In summary, while the park has its merits, the negative experiences with certain individuals can overshadow the enjoyment for many dog owners. If you're looking for a welcoming environment for both you and your dogs, I would recommend considering other options or visiting during off-peak hours when the atmosphere is more relaxed.
