My dog liked running around and sniffing. Not much grass at all so he will need a quick bath so he feet get clean. I do like how the gate is maintained and double locked, as well as fresh water available from a spicket. Few spots to sit, no shade offered if pets need a cool down.

I don't have a dog, therefore I felt excluded. I feel as though a less dog-centric approach could really help those of us without dogs to feel more comfortable in the dog park.....I felt uncomfortable with how a certain Great Dane was ogling my sandwich. I won't name names.(his name is Stookie). Perhaps his owner could train him to be a bit less creepy and a bit more aware of how his behavior has an effect on folks who just want to have a relaxed sausage sandwich in a dog park without a dog.... Society has a long way to go.....🤞🫂

Pretty good sized dog park, pretty well maintained, plenty of dog bowls for water that they have on site Dog-friendliness We have not encountered any aggressive or unfriendly dogs Picnic area There is an outdoor table and some benches placed around the park, plenty of seating

Great vibe, it's a volunteer, community run dog park. Not city owned or operated so be sure to follow their IG for events and ways to help out. Some of our best friends have been made at this park!! Fresh running water, shade isn't great so plan accordingly, cobblestone is an issue for older dogs but it's in progress to get renovated. Overall a wonderful community resource!

Great local park for dogs of all sizes. Water and bowls are provided. It's mostly stone and dirt/rocks so it can get a little dirty. Friendly people and dogs.

I kove bringing my dog here he has so much fun and runs around with the other dogs, it's a decent size, drinkable water is provided, and people pick up after their dogs. The only bad thing I will say is this, and this.could happen any where I guess, sometimes there is that one dog that is not acclimated to being around other dogs and gets a little snippy and the owner(s) just let it happen.

My dog enjoys coming here. I wish there was some grass as opposed to all cobblestones and dirt. The water spigot is a great amenity for the park as well. The one thing I would like is if there was more lighting in the evening hours. Otherwise, standard park stuff with the double gates

Great to have a local dog park. Dogs and owners are friendly and parking is great. Hopefully the board can do something about the cobblestone ground, would be much nicer to remove them and have mulch or grass

As a Fishtown denizen, I'm very happy to have this off-leash park as an alternative to the mud pit of Triangle Park. The park is stocked with garbage cans, recycling bins, and water bowls. It has a decent amount of space and the broken up asphalt makes a jungle gym for pups. Parking is easy on Front, Palmer, and Front. My only points of complaint are the lack of trees for shade and the loose dirt and wood chips that get tennis balls more grody than usual, which my dog doesn't like to put in his mouth.

Very friendly people and a good atmosphere. I have a chihuahua who pretty much stays to herself but she had a good time walking around. Other doggie parents kept a good eye on thier dogs to avoid any problems. Most of the dogs played together. Another gentleman was kind enough to bring enough water so all the dogs could share!! Best dog park were been to in the area!

A tiny dog park with no grass. At least there’s water and a gate, though most people take their dogs to the big field on the other side of Kensington High School for the Performing Arts. It seems like more of a social spot for the dog owners than an actual dog park. Also, have heard of a number of dogs getting fleas/ticks after visiting here. It’s nice that there is a dog park, but disappointing that it’s so depressing.

Tried taking my adopted pitbull there and everyone looked at my dog and started to get up and leave. That and they gave me and my wife nasty looks the whole time. My dog is not hostile towards other dogs and just gets very excited so he barks a lot. Not going back there.

Was there for the first time Wednesday. So sorry to say it was not what I expected to see based on the reviews I read before going. No grass at all, overflowing trash cans and uneven walking surface. Happy i brought dog waste bags because they were none there and it showed. It was like an accident looking to happen. Meet a few nice dogs but no friendly people. Sorry to give an unhappy review. 🙁

Love this dog park. Fresh water is available for the dogs and although it's mostly cobblestone it gets the job done. My first trip there was very nice except there was a dog that was pretty aggressive that made most of the park leave. Sad that everyone else had to leave because someone else didn't know how to control their dog even though the rules are if your dog is showing aggressive behavior that they must leave immediately. Nice day out and most of the dogs are friendly!

Great little dog park! Before I came here I was expecting it to be much smaller but there is actually so much space here. The entrance is great because there is an initial gate where you first enter and then another gate into the park. There are plenty of benches inside and outside the park and the community is very friendly!

Cute little dog park, not usually busy and it's completely closed in with a chain link fence with a lockable gate. The only issue I have is the gravel and dust throughout the park. It's otherwise great. Just don't trust my dog with some of the other pet owners

Nice park. It's a tad small and has cobble stone on half of it for some reason. I've witnessed 2 bad dog fights there, one where the underdog needed to go to the vet. Despite that, I visit once every two weeks or so. It's ok.

We only go here because of its close to our house. The park has cobble stone throughout with patches on dirt. In my opinion it’s not exactly well kept but I guess it does it’s job if you live nearby. I would like to see more grass at this park. I think it would change the rundown appearance it currently had. Also if they should remove the cobble stone since it’s not very good on dogs paws/nails.
