Big fenced off area with partial grass partial dirt. Great for dogs to have fun and play. There is a smaller part sectioned off for dogs who may need separation from the rest but can still sniff through the fence. Playground A playground is located farther down the road from the dog park for kids to play on Restrooms Restrooms located at the actual park for kids Dog-friendliness Obviously dog friendly, place for them to play Picnic area Picnic tables provided inside and outside the dog park. More picnic areas in the actual park as well

Only thing is really a bummer about this place is they have all this land in yet they choke the dog park down into such a small area. There are benefits to using some of that land towards the dog part such as lowers crime rate by getting people out an active in a prosocial manor, it keeps some of the trash picked up it's just floating around out in the fields because when you're walking around picking up after your dog I don't know about you, I pick up trash when I see it laying right in front of me, and taking your dog out to the park promotes a longer, healthier life enabling one to contribute more to society. Dog-friendliness My experience is this park has the more obnoxious dogs that like to hump other dogs but as long as you got a good dog everything will be alright

Lots of nice trails around here and a pretty nice fenced-in dog park

EDITED ! ! My dog has gone over the fence in both large and small areas. She just simply climbed right on up and over. The park is large, so if you have a dog that comes repeatedly when called, then suddenly decides to ignore you and investigate a squirrel, the fence is low with weak points on the north locked gate and the south east corners.

Took my puppy here for his first dog park experience. Big open area. All the dog owners were nice and cleaned up after their dogs.

Wasn't so much the dog park itself, but a man has a dog that he has no control over. I am not sure what he was doing while our dog was leashed and trembling. We did everything we could to stay away from his dog but that was not possible so we left. As we were leaving, his dog attempted to get out, again, he was no where to be found.

Could not be more perfect! I found the off leash part for hiking with my doggies and enjoyed every minute. Love that is is like hiking in the mountains right in the middle of Colorado Springs!

First of all there is no shade! Second, there's hardly anything for the dogs, just some tree stumps scattered. Also there was a decent sized dog that was not neutered and trying to hump our female while the owner sat on the bench pretending not to see.
