Pana'ewa Park

This is a beautiful park, very well maintained, very clean. Fenced in from the street and parking lot. Very safe. The parents here monitor their children. Everyone is friendly. Adjacent to a large sports field.

Well kept park, lots of room to run. Locked up at night to deter people from ruining it. The groundskeeper is so friendly too! I didn’t realize they lock the gates after a certain time and he let us out, very friendly. We frequently stop here when visiting Hilo and the kids always have so much fun Playground Large play structure with areas for both bigger kids as well as a toddler structure for little ones. Sad that the swings were removed Restrooms Clean and well kept. Usually stocked up on toilet paper and soap but no way to dry hands Dog-friendliness Dogs are not allowed inside the playground but you can walk them around the fenced area while keeping an eye on the kids! Picnic area The tables are in a well shaded area perfect for a little picnic or even a gathering of people

Great place to take kids to play on Hilo side. Open until 8pm, seemed clean. The entire playground area is fenced off so it seems safe for smaller kids.

Large playground, field and indoor space. The bathrooms are always clean, but lacking in soap and paper towels. The field has a large space to run around and play games. The playground area has a fence surround which is great to keep the kids safe from the road. Finally, the indoor gym area is beyond spacious!

Great big playground. Has both an area for younger kids to play and one for the older kids. My favorite part is that its gated, with 2 entrance/exit spots so its a little safer. Has picnic tables and is shaded with trees. If there isnt a practice going on then there is a huge feild the kids or dogs could walk/play around.

I play for the aliis so you already know, dis place is da bomb! ( we went 9-3 this season were hammas brah! )

Setup up foodie booth at Pana'ewa Park! beautifully situated in the middle of Hilo town. A national basketball tournament was held her e for 4 days! elementary to high school, gym was packed with kids and parents a fun long day for everyone! Helped my sister.
