Petrifying Springs Park

Petrifying Springs Park is a wonderful place if you love the outdoors. Great for small picnics, larger pavilion parties, or just a visit to the several playgrounds. The walking trails are either solid concrete, natural paths or nicely paved trails. Lots of variety of wildlife, flowers and fungi. I highly recommend exploring the trails. 🌼🪵🌿🐦‍⬛🐿️🌸☀️

Hands down best park in the area. Nice dog park and awesome trails. Not to mention the beer garden and at times family events for everyone. Also pretty sweet golf course if that’s your thing. Playground New and upgraded. Real nice Dog-friendliness Dog park is nice and big. Separate smaller dog sided fence. Trails Picnic area Great for any and every event.

Beautiful!! The place and the people. We finished our fall pictures quickly and moved out of sight for other visitors sake, then did a small hike. our kids played soccer on the field. We met two 90 Year old's who were visitors. Had a great conversation with them and headed back home before 4pm.

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! I take the puppers here every chance I get!!! The beer garden is almost always hosting something and the whole park is very well maintained! Hats off to all the staff who keep this place looking its best!!! First time coming here was for a date, lol. Me and my fiancé love this place so much and we try to make it out once a week if the weather and our schedules allow for it. They have a few play grounds, a dog park, and several Pavillions that book up quick for different events and I love every minute I get to spend here!!!

What a beautiful ,clean park with such wonderful people everywhere. The Autumn 🍁 colours made it more precious .We had a wonderful hike with amazing nature memories. Park is really big with playground, golf course, barbecue place. So many parking spots and always sheriffs checking around. People working out, jogging, playing, laughing, walking their dogs . The newly renovated Pets Park! Wow, it’s Breathtaking 😍‼️ Definitely going to be a new fav spot for my family. My kids had such a great time. The Scenery is gorgeous and the bugs weren't too bad. Loved all the bench seating availability, it was nice to take a break and take quick stroll on the trails and come back to play. My kids absolutely loved it and the multiple slides were a great touch. Highly recommended for independent (4 & up) kids. Location: Area 4, Right after the big Bridge

Great trails for hiking AND biking. Beautiful spots for picnicking. A great beer garden with lots of events for everyone in the community. Dog park. Honestly just a beautiful place to connect with nature or spend some time at. *lots of bathrooms, nicer ones by thebeer garden. Playground Newer play grounds Restrooms Nicer one by the beer garden but several sprinkled up and and down the park. Dog-friendliness Very dog friendly and has a dog park across from the beer garden. Picnic area Tons of picnic areas with lots of shelters. You can rent them to if you have a large group and need to make sure to secure a specific one for pretty cheap.

This is a great Family Friendly Park! The grounds are beautifully maintained.. lots of different areas for picnics…safe areas to ride bikes. Playgrounds for children… a nice Dog Park and a full-service Biergarten. Many trails for hiking or walking leashed dogs. Very nice. Playground Well maintained playground equipment for children Restrooms Several restrooms throughout the park in the warmer months, but during winter there is only one bathroom available… it’s listed on their website which one will be available Dog-friendliness Dogs on leashes in the park, but further south in the park there is a fenced in…well maintained dog play area Picnic area Several nice areas with outside picnic tables or pavilions with picnic tables and grills

love this course! The back 9 make you feel like you are playing in the woods. :) very well kept and reasonably priced.
