It's real! At first I didn't think so but we walked over and it is. It's sorta hard to get to and not out in the open. Tucked back in the corner. They do have a parking lot on the other side of the park or you can park on the side street that is a little closer. It has two sections so it could potentially be for big and little dogs. Two entrances, two garbage cans, and a water fountain. Hopefully more people will know it's here and it can become better known.

I stopped visiting this park too many aggressive dogs they owners don’t supervise or correct the behaviors. My dog has been attacked twice here. I only go when it’s not a lot of people then it’s a nice park to visit. I recommend going in the earlier part of the day.

I brought my pup here a few months ago. She was a bit overwhelmed with all the dogs (much larger than her) which was normal since she's used to smaller dogs. An hour later another small doggy was attacked by a much bigger dog and apparently was badly injured. He got really competitive over a ball and attacked the dogs that tried to play with it. From some of the frequent visitors, we found out that the dog was recently adopted and I guess his owner doesn't quite know yet how he behaves around other dogs. My pup was caught in the fight but thankfully she got unharmed. Very scary... I haven't been there since.

Unfortunately this place is a big litter box. It seems unsafe to let your dog in here with so much fresh poop in all the pebbled areas, especially with some sickness going around in dogs at the moment. I wish people would clean up after their dogs because it would be nice to have access to a relatively clean fully fenced area. It's not that hard.

Decent little park. Don't go here as often as I used to after finding a significantly bigger grassy park a similar distance from my home. Parking lot isn't great...or even good, but at least there is one. Alternative is to park by the school closer to the dog park, but that can be a pain during the school year depending on the time of day. Supposed to be getting a cement path from entrance of dog park to entrance of main park, but there doesn't seem to be any movement there. Plenty of shade and the pools make it a good little spot for hot days.

Park district employees aren't that friendly, but it's a beautiful place

I love this park! My dog always has a great time, the people are so nice and it's well maintained. I wish I could give it 10 stars! It's hit or miss if it'll be busy, but everyone who comes here is so polite and watches over their dogs. I find it relaxing to be with other dog owners who want to interact with me and watch their dogs closely. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Unfortunately, the one time I was there, two unneutered males came at different times and both caused problems. The second dog was a large Doberman with cropped ears and a spiked collar. I'm not biased against any breed, but I've worked with animals for 15 years and unneutered dogs are prone to trouble. The second dog locked on to anothers face. It took the owners a while to separate them and then nobody felt comfortable to stay. People need to know whether their dog is going to be friendly with other dogs otherwise it ruins the experience for others and puts our pets at risk. That Doberman was clearly meant for protection more than companion. The space is nice besides the specific incident we had and some nice person came and donated a ton of tennis balls while I was there. I wouldn't avoid this park all together, but I'd pay attention to who's coming in and out and be vigilant.

I grew up in this neighborhood until about 1981, there was no such thing as a dog park but this park was great when I was a little kid growing up in the 70's, it was a great time of my life and I'm glad to see so many people enjoying it today.

Great small dog park. People are nice. Be aware that the water gets turned off during the winter (so bring your own water for your dog)

This was our first visit. The park was clean and the people were friendly. It was obvious that the local dog community takes an interest in the park by encouraging people leave extra poop bags for those that might forget to bring their own, advocating for a foot path for easier accessibility, and obstacles for dogs to play on.

Mostly senior dogs who prefer not to be approached or play + separately, owners who struggle with basic communication

My dog used to love to come here and play when her best friend used to love in the neighborhood and would come in and play with her. Now she still exists walking over and meeting new dogs there and going in late at night when no one else is there. But a great little party to let your dog run around and meet other dog parents that live in the hood.

Happy to have found this place. Went almost a year living over here before coming over, wish I would have sooner. It’s clean and well taken care of. In the summer, tons of water for the dogs. A little kiddy pool & balls. Benches, shade, a gate to divide sides if needed. Well behaved dogs & owners. Excited to get our picture taken with Santa. They’re hosting a Santa photoshoot December 6th and do every year on the first Saturday of December.

The dog park is a decent sized Park. It's too bad it can't be seen by the public. I believe more people would take advantage of it.

My dog loves this place. Bonus points for having an A frame!

This park is just what I needed for my newly adopted pooch! I was so worried off leashing her in open spaces and this allows for just that so she can run free! Well maintained and kept. People I've encountered seem respectful and willing to socialize their fur babies. So happy to know this is here!!

This park is so convenient and good way for your dog to meet other dogs. This park is near the back of the actual park itself so your dog can have a little exploring before actually going in to socialize. Once in the space is pretty average sized. There is an additional gate to split the dog area in half. Mainly for those with more aggressive dogs. Also, they have waste bags there for you to use. The rocks they have instead of grass make it easier to pick up after your dogs, but make sure they don't eat the rocks. The only bad thing I will say about thise park is the driving there. The street that park is on has ALOT of pot holes. I get scared for my car when I'm going there. Parking is also very limited. So if there is a little league baseball game going on there good luck finding parking.

Cooper loves going to play with his brother Berland

Won’t bring my dogs here again. Dog owners think their dogs are too precious to interact with other dogs. So why bring them to a dog park? And if you are fearful, so will your dog be.
