Great neighborhood park. I love that there is often several folks at the skate park. The dog park gets busy at peak times but is mostly completely empty Playground Really well done playground recently remodeled Dog-friendliness Two dog parks (small dogs, large dogs). Always ask if the dogs already there play well. I’ve had a couple instances with over aggressive dogs, and apparently oblivious owners Picnic area Covered picnic area with power

It was ok. We just wanted to find somewhere to eat and have our little one to play after lunch. It was decent and the trees provided a lot of shades so you can sit down where it's not too hot under the hot sun.

Our teenager loves this skate park and can't wait to go back.

When you come here, while your kids are burning off all their energy walk over to the vegan time food truck and try something new.

This park has playground equipment, picnic areas and a skate park. It is not a good idea to allow children to go there without supervision in my opinion. It is usually a chill place, but there have been fights. A fairly rough neighborhood is close by. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The park is usually clean.. I have not seen a proper bathroom, but I might have overlooked it.

The park itself is not in the greatest shape but the skatepark there is completely unique and I love it. It could use a bowl but baby steps. The playground is good for the kids and there's alot of green space for picnics. There's a pavilion too which is nice. The park tends to attract alot of brown bag liquor kind of people but it's not super shady.

The skatepark is average. It has some nice ramps and a miniramp and some rails to work on some technical things but no defining features or a bowl. The playground is super fun for the kids and very shaded. The park tends to attract a wierd crowd but there's always a ton of skaters and birthday parties and stuff.

A Safe clean place for your little ones to have fun. The path circling around the park is great for walking or jogging. They also have a separate area for your dogs to roam around freely.

If they had a separate play area for toddlers that would be great. Other than that the city has really made this park so much better!!! It also has a fenced in dog area.

After dark? Stay away or don't come alone!! I live right around the corner and will not walk through there without my gun in hand. Been stopped by cops twice asking why I was carrying a gun in plain sight, I was honest and told them both times. Both times I was told to have a good night and be safe. They didn't even as for my permit or check the guns serial. Yes a few of them know me from working the store next to the PD station, but those two didn't lol. Just be safe! If before 1am I am right across from skatepark.

Although I appreciate a dog park at this location, the park is in pretty rough condition. Unkept grass, broken water faucet, empty waate bags and overflowing garbage, large dog section. Needs really bad attention.

Skate park area, actual park area and a dog park area! There is also a nice gazebo and some picnic spots. Kiddos park is well shaded for the most part. So parents aren't melting watching your kids.

Wish this place was cleaned up more. We usually go here in the mornings, but now it's getting bad, even in the mornings! People in groups smoking weed near the play area, drug deals going on right in front of your face, and homeless people taking baths in the fountain. The place looks nice, it's the people tearing it down. Also, someone recently got shot here. Police and the city need to do something about this.

I rescued a 3yr old german shepherd a few weeks ago and a friend told me about the dog park here. I loved it. They have a dog water fountain that drains after every use so ur dog isnt drinking dirty water or water behind another dog. There is lots of running room. 2 separate areas 1 for small dogs 1 for large. Shaded areas benches. I was just overall extremely impressed. I will now be making at least a visit a week to this park if not twice a week

Wonderful park with lots of activities. We took the dogs to the dog park. They got to play in a pool with fresh water, make some friends and watch people skate at the skatepark. We'll be going back once I get a new skateboard!

This is a very well maintained park. Spacious grass area for tossing a ball or just lying about and soaking up sun. In the center sits a large gazebo, with power supply, where families often hold celebrations. Separate fair sized dog park. A children's play area with plenty of fun ways to release their seemingly infinite amounts of energy, and a decent skate park for those with X-treme tendencies. I've yet to see anyone land the Too Chi Flip (540 flip to dark slide.) For the record, I, alias Impromptu Revival, invented the Too Chi Flip. Full disclosure, no I can not perform it. To do so, one must be in the zone, or Too Chi.

Nice park for a small walking circle sidewalk. Dog park looked excellent and well used for very cute and social dogs. Skate park also looked like a nice setup and attracted quite the crowd of skilled tricksters. Great location too right in town.

Nice hiking trails, shady trees, green grass, a friendly place for dogs, a great fenced area with slides and swings, and an energetic skateboard space where younger and older folks mingle together. No water in the pool, and it seems so neglected and filthy, but hopefully this will change sometime in the future.

I go to dog park area in the south end at least 5 days a week. Peak times are in the mornings around 8 am, and the evening around 6 pm or an hour before sunset, whichever is earlier. Usually 15 to 30 dogs in the evening, 3 to 15 in the morning. On the south end is a pair of fenced areas for the dog park. The areas are labeled as large and small, but that is not how it is used. There is a large tree shading the north fenced in area, making it cooler. So in the summer, people prefer that side, and prefer the south side in the winter. The other side gets used by dogs that are not socialized yet, so that they can safely socialize through the fence. Once they calm down they slowly get integrated. Amenities: Water and plastic bags are provided by the city, and supplemented by people who use the park. There is a concrete pad and bench near the entrance, and 2 other pads and benches in each area. Poop: You are expected to pick up after your dog. If you can’t find it, and find another pile, get that one, as long as you remove a pile it counts. Usually there are no obvious extra piles. We try and keep the park clean and inviting. Children: Children need to be accompanied by an adult, especially for the first few visits. New dogs: Have all of your shots, for puppies, this often means waiting till they are 8 weeks old. If your dog is not spayed or neutered, and fertile, it may cause fights, or make puppies. City rules say only fixed pets, but be sensible. Take off the leash before entering the park in the area provided. When it is on the leash, it will attempt to defend you, off the leash, it will play. The Pavilion: Nearby is a covered pavilion that gets used for birthday parties on the weekends, and as a dance and exercise area for a Martigras school organization in the summer evenings. Sometimes homeless people do go there, but they have been well behaved for the past year.
