Nice and well maintained. Areas for small dogs and large dog are separate. Playground None Restrooms Porta potty. Dog-friendliness It is a dog park. Picnic area Seating is available.

This is so peaceful and beautiful in city limits. It’s so nice to have so close to home. Great walking distance escape.

As a non-dog owner, this is the nicest dog park I've been to. We puppy-sat for a few weeks, and frequented this dog park regularly during those two weeks. We did try a different park when that one was more convenient for us, and it was very noticably less awesome. There are two nice fenced in areas for dogs to run and play. There is also a very large grassy area and trails through the trees that give a lot of options to exercise your dog(s). Most (but not all, unfortunately) of the dog owners I ran into in my time here were quite polite and watchful of their dogs.

Very nice new dog park. Used to be an open green park and was able to be used for other uses as well. The dog park takes up the majority of the large park area. Cool dam on the river and with the water pretty low this year the rocks are more visible. It looks like there may be an access on the ND side but not 100% sure.

Best dog park in Fargo/Moorhead. No mud, there are trees and friendly people.

River Oaks Dog Park has a tear drop drive way which made it a little complicated for parking but not impossible. The driveway is long which gave the girls plenty of room to exercise. We’ve never seen squirrels that big before. And, as we were walking along the bank I just happened to see a deer. It’s nice to be able to take in all this nature especially at a dog park.

This is my favorite local park to walk the river. There were coyotes on the other bank on the North side today singing the song of their people.

This dog park is amazing. People are very attentive to their dogs. People seem to always pick up after their dogs. It's a great place to bring your pup if they like to run and be around other dogs Restrooms Portapotty
