Quickly became a favorite escape while wicker park dog space is under renovation. This park is quiet, despite sitting immediately next to the highway. Another perk: the park is entirely shaded. Dog-friendliness This is a dog park.

Woodchip-covered, fully fenced in dog park with plenty of room to room to run. The gate opens directly to the street (instead of one of those airlock-style double gate setups), so keep an eye on your dog if somebody is entering or leaving

A nice shady spot that isn’t cement (wood chips instead). Pretty basic, but despite being up against the highway is pretty quiet. Could use some upkeep as the benches aren’t all in the best condition.

Nice convenient dog park. Only thing that sucks is on weekdays there are dog walking businesses who use the park to bring all their dogs here at once on weekdays around 1-4pm. At least they maintain the grounds (I think) which is appreciated.

Be careful at night and don't bring nice shoes. A lot of locals don't care about picking up their dogs stuff.

Such a convenient location for a dog park. It’s a shady spot with all the trees and the dogs absolutely love it. Only thing is the bench has been broken for weeks now with no update on if/when it’ll be fixed.

A pretty great dog park that is usually busy after weekday work is out (4-6). The only one in the area that works perfect to have dogs off leash. The only thing is it is all woodchips and dirt, so if it rains, you're kinda out of luck if you wanted to go, as your dog will get very very dirty. Otherwise, everyone respects and takes care of the park which makes it a great choice

Park is a great space/size for dogs to run around. It’s all dirt/wood chips so keep that in mind after rainy days. As someone else as mentioned, there is a lady who brings 15 dogs at once... she can’t control all those dogs at once. Not to mention she just drove away leaving all those dogs unattended... not sure how long she will leave the unattended but shocking she did at all. When she is not at the park it’s great and everyone is very friendly.

A nice convenient dog park. It would be nice if there were a couple of picnic tables and maybe some fresher wood chips, but it doesn't seem like the dogs care.

This is my dog's favorite park, shady and wood-chipped with good length to run. In response to some other reviews, let me mention a few things. This is not an official dog park. As I understand it, the woman who is the dog walker mentioned may have created it, but definitely maintains it, mostly on her own. I just watched her contract for a giant pile of fresh wood chips (free from some landscaper), and then she did the bulk of the moving from street pile to inside the park, and then raking. Various regular users helped but, all credit and the majority of the work goes to her. She is very nice, but justifiably protective of the park as it's informal "superintendent". I'd estimate that she has ~10 dogs, but they also are nice and my dog likes to go when they are there. Contrary to what one person wrote below, I have never seen her leave the dogs unattended and that seems inconceivable since she takes care to leash those less social to the fence. (PS. I'd use her as a dog walker in a heartbeat.) Anyhow, she comes weekdays ~3pm and stays around an hour, so if you want to avoid and/or your dog likes a quieter, less social experience, just come other times or on weekends; otherwise, say hi, be social, and join the fun.
