Roeding Park

Visited Fresno Chaffee Zoo in Roeding Park on a very hot day in early July 2024. Since it was hot during my visit, the animals were not very active. They relaxed in shaded areas in their habitats to stay cool. Very large animal habitats. The savanna habitat was my favorite. Overall, a good zoo experience. 0:29 0:08 0:07

Great zoo. It's amazing all of the changes that have been made here in the past several years. Great attractions and exhibits. Worth a visit.

The family and I came on a very hot 🔥 day It was Fresno no surprise but it's a great zoo for kids. My sons loved it I don't mind spending at zoos because it helps the animals here and live in peace. Not as big as LA or San Diego zoos but they still have plenty for the kids to enjoy. Playground Yes they have a few. Restrooms Plenty all genders that's good. Dog-friendliness Didn't see any dogs but unless you need them as guidance. Picnic area Yes Plenty of areas .

We took someone who'd never been to a zoo before and it was a little disappointing because what she got to see was a lot of places with animals not there and moving equipment and lots of things like that. She still enjoyed it and it certainly was wonderful to see all the various changes that will be made. I was particularly happy to see a new commissary and office buildings going up because the previous facilities are old and inadequate.

Always fun, this event was awesome really great. Santa, grinch, cindylou whoo, Elf, king & queen , ect, Actually. It Snowed. Lots of fun activities. Teain rides by two trains. Kids loved it. Comfort level Very safe Restrooms I only found one balding but in sure there's more Dog-friendliness Not a good idea Picnic area Yes 0:10

Always the funnest place for my 3 boys the rides part is amazing needs a few upgrades but the kids don't notice it. The storybook place is so fun they have arts and crafts and life size kids toys like connect 4 and legos for the kids to play with. Each story section is beautiful and so much fun for the kids to interact with my youngest is one and oldest is 5 and they had a blast there.

I like the structure of this park and all the family fun that is part of it. Like Story Land, Play Land, and the Chaffee Zoo. They also have a duck pond that you can visit and they have a train that rides through most of the park. It's a big park. The only thing that I don't like is the homeless, I'm talking about the ones that pee in public and leave their trash. Despite the restrooms and the trash cans located throughout the park some people just don't care about the children around watching everything. that seems to be normal at more more parks these days. But since I was a kid I've love this park.

I visited this place in the afternoon on a weekend. It was a lot of fun. The bathrooms are clean. It has different food stalls. The whole playland area is super clean. The rides are very fun. There are different characters around all the time. I recommend this place. It has a lot of parking space. Playground The rides are fun. Restrooms The restrooms are very clean 0:05

Nice place to take the kids and right now is a grate time to see the migration of Egret. They're nesting and have invaded the parks tree. Beautiful sight

We absolutely love our zoo. Really amazing improvements over the last 10 years! We recently went to Illuminature, and I HIGHLY recommend it! It's really beautiful. My daughter didn't want to leave when it closed. Support our zoo!! 0:20 0:29 0:08 0:23 0:07 0:11
