This park isn't well maintained and considering how much tax money the city of Harrisburg makes per year with all of the growth in population over the past 2 years the park should be in much better condition. The size is nice, but the "grass" is horrible. I realize it's still winter (March) but it's obvious they don't do much upkeep for it. It needs grass planted that can stand up to dogs. I realize a water fountain is too much to ask but it would be nice. I am happy the park exists and of course our dog doesn't know any better. He looks forward to meeting other dogs when we go.

My dogs love it! Big open space, usually pretty quiet, well kept up. Love the new concrete addition so it's not as muddy at the entrance. I would like some lighting so we can utilize it for longer in the winter.

Very nice park for furry friends! Millie loves to greet everyone as they come into the park and to chase the other dogs around. Everyone we have met here has been kind and cleans up after their pet. The park is well kept with no trash. Only suggestion I have is to bring some water for your dog because they do not have a drinking fountain.

Nice park, double gated entrance, could use watering area for the dogs. There was a big mud puddle in the back, but the rest was dry. Only one shaded seating area, large enough for 3 people. Unshaded seating available throughout the park. Not very busy, and plenty of clean space for your dog to run.

My bf took the pooch out for a run in the powdery snow. They both loved it but hoped there would be another dog or two there. When driving to this dog park, where does one park? EDITS 1) A lot of the snow was pushed aside today and parking in the street alongside the park was more available. 2) Walked in myself and noted there IS a 2 gate system for entering and exiting. In addition, the fences and gates were heavy duty. 3) Ours was the smallest dog there, but she is an intense herding breed, so glad all the other dogs were much larger. Did not see a separate area for small dogs. Will check again on our next visit. 4) Bags and a trash are provided, so please pick up after your pooch. Dog-friendliness This is a dog park with secure fence and gate. It doesn't have the double gate entry that "professional" dog parks have, but it was OK as no other pooches were there. I WAS MISTAKEN. Please see edit above!

We love coming to this park! It’s not crowded, nice in and out gate system, and plenty of seating. Worth it to drive from inner Sioux Falls!

I have reviewed this park before. It is a great park and has a porta potty outside for the humans. It has a safe double gate and doggy clean up bags which the humans need to use to keep the park safer and cleaner. Only true drawbacks are no area for smaller dogs and there is a bench (launchpad)along one of the fence edges. Playground Open distance for running and throwing a ball. Restrooms Porta potty Dog-friendliness Generally safe except one of the benches by the fence Picnic area None available. Please don't bring food there.

Nice dog park with some play areas, ie tires and a raised bridge with tunnel. Ample benches and loads of regular users. Frequently has several dogs. No water on site but several metal bowls to use if forget one.

This dog park is clean and easy to enter and exit. It was not crowded and offers a large place for dogs to run.

This is a good size dog park for good puppers to run about! They have young trees planted and when they grow tall, this will have great shade to rest in while dogs play. There are lots of places to sit which was really nice and lots of play sites for your fur baby. You enter through a double gate and pick up bags are available for use there at the entrance. To the right is a little fire hydrant and a place to sit with small shaded area. They have a good size tube tunnel for the dogs and tires to play on. All the trees planted inside the park have small benches around them. This protects the trees from the dogs but also gives a lovely resting spot. I'm excited for the day when the trees are large and provide shade. It will be very comfortable! As of right now, there are no water fountains or connections for water so that is a bit disappointing. If they were able to connect something like that, it would be ideal. This is an excellent little park and has potential to be even better in the future. Playground Near the elementary school so you could have kids go to that playground but there is no kids play area on site. Restrooms Porta John outside the park for general use. Dog-friendliness Two gate entry and off leash dogs are friendly Picnic area Lots of places to sit but not tables to set food.
