Dogs dogs everywhere, in the fenced area, out in the open. All well behaved on and off the leash. My doggo loves to walk and explore more these days, so I walk him here, going all the way to the adjacent park for a longer walk, and while coming back towards the dog park, he likes to run around with other dogs for a while. Lost one star because of not so well behaved dog owners. As this park is getting more popular, I see more people not picking up after their dogs 🤢 even though the park has very environment friendly poop scoopers inside and outside the enclosed area.

Narrow long park approximately 0.5-1.0 miles long. Large grassy areas flanking path. Dog park at northern end of park currently under renovation. Small playground for kids with a public bathroom. Cement picnic tables dotting the park. Nice quiet neighborhood park. Available parking at various roundabouts near the park.

Warning: If your dog isn't dog-friendly, I suggest holding off until the dog park renovations are done. I went early a.m. thinking it would be fairly quiet and there were at least 8-10 dogs OFF-LEASH. Maybe that is the general understanding for the community and/or a temporary city park policy. Either way, it made for a difficult walk for my dog. Ended up going to Rainbow Park instead.

I really like this park for what it is, they turned a 50 ft wide strip of land just off the expressway that is probably a 1000 ft long or more. It's got lots of nice trees and a dog park and a couple playgrounds. It does have a tent or two set up in the trees off along side the boarder. The homeless people whom live there seem to be very clean and respectful of those who are there to enjoy the park, essentially by not speaking to others unless spoken to, and by maintaining a low profile. This seems to be the trend for those struggling with similar difficulties in the West San Jose area.

Saratoga Creek Park is a multi-purpose park with an enclosed dog park, playground, exercise circuit, and picnic areas with BBQ grills. The playground is well maintained and the bathrooms kept clean. There are open grass areas perfect for kicking or tossing a ball... or imaginative play under a tree. It is not uncommon to find dogs chasing a ball or Frisbee off leash but the practice seems to be limited to well-behaved, trained furkids. The enclosed dog park is used by small to large dogs, and their people mostly pay attention to the interactive play but not everyone is attentive to the potty-breaks their furkids take. There are also people that do not have a clear understanding of normal dog play. The spring rains have a few native wildflowers blooming and showing off their brilliant colors. Playground The playground is clean, safe, and colorful. Restrooms The bathrooms are clean and functional. Dog-friendliness This is a dog-friendly park. Picnic area The picnic benches tend to be nestled away from the walking path and near trees that provide shade.

Nice, well-shaded park that's actually very quiet and peaceful despite being right next to Lawrence Expressway. There are nice paths that stretch pretty far as this park is bigger than it seems. It's a narrow park but very long. There are picnic tables that always seem clean and have a good amount of shade. Plenty of tall trees keep the park cool even on warmer days.

Long park that is thin in width. The grass is less maintained, hence the yellow patches and some weeds. But, the walking path is strewn with huge redwood trees, loads of cool shadows. There is a good play area for kids 5-12. The park also has a clean public restroom as well. You'll hear the noise from the Lawrence Expressway, the park is still calming.

It is my lovely dog Wesley favorite park, surrounding by all-years green trees and lawns, friendly people, full-energy yuths, and playful dogs. I feel I'm recharged positive energy every time I spend my dog at the park. Don't mention that a group of people, as a part of the Dance Church, come there every Sunday around late morning to do a free-style dance with a donation base and express themselves with music gracefully.
