I was in Columbus for a weekend and found this big nice dog park. But the sign says the dog park will be closed permanently soon (photo taken Feb. 20, 2022). Feel bad for the locals. Still, the park has some nice trails and open fields outside the dog park that we enjoyed too.

Scoobert has such a good time there! It was his first dog park experience and there were 3 different fenced in areas that allowed for you to choose what place was best for your pup. :)

Update: I went from 5 to 3 stars after their renovation because the new spot for dogs is VERY small. The big dog area fells like maybe 1/3 of the old space when the back fence is opened. It feels constantly crowded and the turf, while nice, makes it hard to clean up after your dog. I fully recommend the small dog space because it’s more than enough. There are three separate areas. One for big dogs, one for little dogs, and a smaller area for whomever (usually used if one park is too wet). Unless it’s super busy, I highly recommend. Most people are great and watch after their dogs. Like all dog parks you will get the occasional bad owner but most of the time everyone is great and there is plenty of room.

This is my go to 🐕 park. The whole park is great in fact with climbing walls, trails, volleyball courts and a wetlands area. The picnic areas are good. You could take the dogs and the family and make a day of it. …

The dog park is pretty nice but don’t go on a day after a rain because the park will be full with mud and water ponds. There are separation between small and big dogs. The reason I gave a 3 starts is because the last time I went there, there were a few owners with their dogs that were not neutered and there are dog poop around the parks. But it is a nice dog park if you want to give it a try.

We absolutely love coming to this park with hard boy Vigo. There are always a lot of fun dogs to play with and interact with, and the owners are generally very friendly as well. Definitely a great place to bring your doggo.

It’s a lovely dog park. It has separated areas for small and large dogs and a good amount of space. There’s also always water available and poop bags provided. In the small dog area there’s very little shade and wow that sun just beats down on you in the middle of summer! Overall a good park though.

Great dog park with turf field so your pup won’t get muddy even on rainy days. They have agility equipment and separate areas for small and big dogs!

Wonderful dog park! Especially since it was moved. My lovely wife and I have been coming to this park since they began building it. We simply love it. It's a surprising little nature oasis in downtown Columbus. The Audubon Center is a great resource for city folks. Paths are well kept, asking with the workout course and rock climbing wall. All free!

This park got a 4 ONLY because my poodle didn't get muddy in March. There was a small turf area because the larger connecting areas were chained off. There were 2 agility items in that place but I expected more. The internet boasts an agility course so not sure if that is due to areas being closed? It is a busy place!! Surprisingly, the dogs were all getting along well for a small space, People were friendly too. It's not known to be the best of areas growing up here but, clearly they are working on it, so I wouldn't go alone on non busy days ..also the road and bridge were completely torn up due to construction. Playground There was a large playground area Restrooms I didn't notice Dog-friendliness Dogs were very friendly even though a small turf area Picnic area I didn't notice that there were picnic tables or not

This place is one of my favorite parks to bring my fur baby. Although there isnt a lot of shade, a public restroom or seating for us parents. There's so much space, for so many fur babies to run, potty & play. Most of the folks I've met here are really nice & theres plenty of room for parking. Review update. While I was at this park today, my partner filled up our fur babies water juggs from the water fountain in between the parking and park fence. We just poured some in our doggy dish & it smelt like a swimming pool....very intense chlorine smell. Ive never had this happen here before so im confused but the water definitely didnt taste good either, I tried. Not sure where that water comes from but it literally smelled like a pool that had just been cleaned with chlorine.

One of the best, upscale dog parks I've seen in Midwest. Great combination of small dog and big dog parks, natural grass with sections for faux grass and even hay area. Lots of toys and bowls and sweet dogs with the nicest people who shared treats! Free and ample parking. Playground Dog agility and groom table Dog-friendliness Friendly dogs Picnic area None

Nice dog park with a small and large dog side. It is astroturf with a piece that can be closed off that is natural dirt, grass and trees.

Great dog park! Can be overly crowded at times, but my pups LOVE it. We enjoy that we can get outside & play in basically any weather because of the turf.

Excellent dog park located downtown! The first dog park has two separate areas for small and large dogs. Both areas have a shared area in the middle with water access and pavilion, plus a few tables. Each separate area has a few obstacles for your pup to practice agility! There is also a completely separate fenced-in area nearby for dogs of all sizes together. No seating or obstacles in this park, but the grass was in better condition. This park can get busy so be prepared! Public restrooms available near the audubon center and near the rock climbing wall. Multiple different parking areas as well.
