Really enjoy taking my dog here. Lots of open space for the dogs and plenty of pet owners who are kind and nice. Only thing is many people dont pick after themselves, and also leave the bags around the field. In other words it has many trails to take on foot or bike. Spent almost 2 hours walking around the whole trail. The view by the lake is perfect by the sunset. So if you're looking for exercise for either you or your dog i definetly recommend it!! 0:07 0:06

Huge unfenced dog park with access to beautiful trails in the Middlesex fells. The park is always clean and has ample parking. Our dog loves it here, we go there with her almost every weekend if the weather is good. Restrooms No restrooms Dog-friendliness Extremely dog friendly Picnic area Some picnic benches near parking

Great park, great trails and great dogs. They maintain the trails very well. The people who go here are great too, there is always water on hot days and someone always picks up after those who forget to. Bring my dog here at least 3 times a week.

Let me tell you something about Sheepfold: this is not a dog park. This is a kingdom, and I, Austin, am its rightful mud‑covered prince. 🌲 First Sniffs The moment we pulled in, I smelled: - 47 other dogs - 12,000 squirrels - A faint whiff of someone’s forgotten sandwich - Freedom My human opened the door and I launched myself into the wild like a four‑legged cannonball. 🐕 Social Scene Sheepfold is basically a canine networking event. Dogs everywhere. Big ones, tiny ones, fluffy ones, suspiciously athletic ones. I greeted them all with my signature move: The Full‑Body Wiggle of Friendship™. A husky tried to recruit me into a zoomies cult. I considered it. 🦴 Terrain & Amenities This place has EVERYTHING: - Open fields for sprinting - Wooded trails for “accidentally” ignoring recall - Mud pits (my favorite amenity) - Sticks the size of small trees - Humans who bring treats and pretend they’re not for me I rolled in something mysterious. My human did not applaud this choice. 🐾 Off‑Leash Freedom This is where Sheepfold shines. You can run. You can sniff. You can chase a squirrel and then pretend you weren’t chasing a squirrel. You can form a temporary wolf pack with three doodles and a beagle named Kevin. 👥 Human Behavior My human did the classic Sheepfold stance: Hands in pockets, pretending to be relaxed while scanning the horizon for my next questionable decision. Other humans said things like: “Oh wow, he’s fast!” and “Is that your dog?” My human said yes, but with the tone of someone who has accepted their fate. 🧾 Final Verdict Sheepfold is: - A sniff paradise - A zoomie stadium - A mud spa - A squirrel surveillance zone - A place where a dog can truly be his best, dirtiest self 5/5. Would drag my human back immediately.

- Nice place for couple of hours. Nice trails but lots of mosquitoes so bring insect repellent. - Got Parking on a Friday Morning. Limited spaces and can’t park on side - Head to the bear hill tower to get a nice view of the reservation. - The reservoir trail does not go to the reservoir that’s upsetting

Great place for just about everything the reservation is beautiful & has over 2,275 acres of parks, ponds & forest literally spread through 6 towns crossing both sides of the highway & just minutes from Downtown Boston. There is a large free parking lot, fields, a playground for the Kiddos, Dog Park for the Pooches & over 100 miles of mixed use trails to explore throughout. Along many of the trails you'll find massive glacial boulders (some bigger than a house) that you can climb up onto and check out the view & there's lots of other things to explore! 🌳☘️ 👨‍👩‍👧 🥅 ⚽ 🐕 🚮 🥾 🙎🏼‍♂️ 🔞 🤤 🙈

It's a good spot to go with dogs. Get there early as the parking situation is a nightmare when it's busy. You hit the dog park first to let your dogs run around and wear out and then can go on several trails but on the trails the dogs have to be leashed. Also, there are no trash cans so pick up after your dog at the beginning and run back to the parking lot to trash it or you'll be carrying it for a long time. Well worth the visit, just a few particulars that make it more enjoyable.

Sheepfold DOG Park is recently starting to be a place that I will take my dogs out to more and more often now. The more i go there, the more I like it. So it has for sure become of my favorite dog parks to bring my pups to in the city. It's safe, clean, and there is no shortage of space for them to run and play in!

Best dog park around. Perfect for off leash romping, trail running, hiking, or biking.

Great trails , nice people and dogs. A few slobs who leave bagged dog waste behind, why bag it if you’re going to leave it behind? They do provide a dumpster next to where you parked. I picked these up plus two more

Large off leash dog area with nice trails around. There is a good amount of parking in the main lot and additional parking down the road. Usually pretty busy on weekend mornings with 50+ dogs. My dog loves coming here to play and then go for a short hike.

Popular spot for exercising dogs. Lots of parking, but often full on weekends. The dog park area is a big open field for dogs to run around in, and there are usually lots of other dogs there. Plenty of trails in the surrounding area. Dogs need to be leashed on the trails, but not everyone observes the rules. Dogs mostly well-behaved. Overall, a great place for people and dogs to get fresh air and exercise. Restrooms None.

Good place to bring a dog for walks. In the warm weather there is a location where all the dogs can be off leash and play with each other. The only drawback is there is not enough parking when it is warm outside. Bring bug spray!

It's Avery good place to bring your dog. Biggest off leash area and there's always dogs here. However, parking can be limited and for whatever reason, there's always dog poop in bags left out in the ground when there's a huge trash container? Dog-friendliness It's a specific dog park and off leash as well Picnic area There are a few picnic tables around

Nice open area for dogs to really run. Owners are responsible about watching dog interactions. Note that it is not fenced in. Lots of trails to walk on with your dog as well with a decent amount of elevation change. Dog-friendliness This is an open off leash area. Surrounding trails are on leash.

We were dropped off by an Uber and this park is not well sign-posted from the road, however Google Maps is accurate and was able to direct us through the trail. Within 5 minutes we could see other dogs coming and going. When we got there the place is really just a wide open space with no facilities for people or their dogs. It was a 30 minute walk back to the nearest town. People at the park were friendly and courteous and this was a fun experience for my son’s 5 month old golden retriever.

An open park to walk the dogs. It has 2 big public parkings. The park is surrounded by a forest and pond. It has a lot of paths and trails. A lot of people walk, run, hike and bike there. A silent beautiful place to walk with family.

Has a nice big open area for all dogs to run around. Everyone I've met so far has been great! . Plus has access to hiking trails, really no land mines in the open area in the bushy area before the trails there's a few but all in all pretty well kept.
