Love taking out dog here and letting run around and sniff all on her own. There is water for the dogs by the main entrance as well as place to rinse off your dog after playing in the water. There are 4 big ponds for dog to swim in and plenty of open space to throw a ball or have a picnic. Dog-friendliness Off leash and open, mostly fenced in. Does connect to other paths where leash is required.

This dog park is amazing! It is so big. The route I usually take is about .75 miles, and that’s a loop that probably only covers half of the park. There are benches in a few spots so you can sit if you don’t care to get dirty. My dog LOVES to run and chase and be chased, and she is very fast, so we love that she gets to run around unleashed. The lakes make it refreshing for her on hot days, but can make our visits less often since she needs a bath after every trip, especially when it’s been raining and is quite muddy. One downside is they only have a trash can at the front, so if you pick up your dog’s poop in the park, you have to carry it with you back to the entrance. My biggest concern is that people leave the gate open occasionally. When we first got our dog, she wasn’t used to staying near us and would wander off with other dogs. She almost wandered outside of the park following another dog and owner who didn’t shut the gate. The park is next to a pretty busy road so we were really worried. Luckily my husband caught her before she got too far. I know park-goers need to be responsible and shut the gate when they come and go, but the park could also make their gates heavy or spring shut so there’s not a chance of people leaving them open.

My pups and I absolutely love this place. Very few places are blessed to have such a large area to walk around with your dog like this. Many wooded trails and lots of lakes for your dog to swim in. We used this place to practice recall and socialization. I highly recommend this place if you need to get some energy out of your dog.

A hidden gem here in Cordova. I love going here for my runs and the park always has activities going on.

We stayed overnight this weekend in Germantown to come here! We drove from about two hours away and the trip was so worth it. The dogs had the time (times, we went both Saturday and Sunday) of their lives and we’ll definitely be coming back. The park is bigger than we could have imagined, and there are so many different things to do, multiple ponds, shaded woods hiking trails, more open grassland hiking trails, and lots of wide open grassy fields with trees for shade. It was pretty hot and humid, especially on day 2, but we stuck near one of the ponds and they were able to cool off whenever they needed to. I highly recommend wearing sunscreen, as the sun is pretty unavoidable in some areas. I do have to add that I wouldn’t recommend this park if your dog doesn’t have a great recall.. if the recall skill was rated 1 to 5, you want your dog to be at least a 3. There are squirrels they might see and we came across a young deer, but I don’t know how often that happens within the dog park.

This is probably the best dog park ever. I used to travel for work and had 2 of my big dogs with me at all times. We would look for new parks to explore in all the various cities we went to. This is definitely the model park that all cities should use. Open off leash running, several small lakes/large ponds for the dogs to swim. We were pleasantly surprised to find this park!

Nicest off leash park I have ever visited. My Great Dane and I always stop while in Memphis. Unlimited acreage and several ponds for the dogs.

Literally the most beautiful peaceful place in the Memphis. Felt like I was in Colorado during the summer or something like that. My dog is not very socialized and I took her here off leash to maybe get some interactions in. The people I encountered were so sweet and supportive of my dog even though she was so nervous. I want to come back every single day. Even if you don’t have a dog, WONDERFUL hilly trails and wide open spaces. Come here with your puppy or to clear your head 0:30

This is probably the largest dog park we've ever seen. It has ponds and hilly areas, so it's not hard to find spots that aren't muddy after rains and snow. The only problems with this park: 1. it's not fully fenced 2. too many people shouldn't be here. We've stopped here with our own dogs when passing through or visiting Memphis and seen people come in who keep their dogs on leashes, then get upset at other dogs running up to them. There are two signs at the entrance that say it's an OFF-LEASH park! People can walk their dogs on a leash anywhere ELSE in this park. Why do it in an off-leash area? That's asking for problems! Dogs on leashes feel vulnerable when approached by unrestrained dogs. We saw two dogs snap and bark incessantly at the other off-leash dogs who ran up to them. They entangled their owners in the leashes and one of the couple with their 2 dogs on leashes acted like the other 3 people were at fault for the mayhem because of having their dogs off leash.

Trail run with my 11 year old was magical. She’s puppy crazy. We did an fun 2-3 mile loop using the All Trails app. Ran through the woods, grass trails, over creek, around pond, and enjoyed dozens of dogs playing off the leash. It was a highlight of our visit to Memphis.

Great place to exercise, just walk with your peeps or dogs. They have a buffalo range with live buffalos and Deers on the woods. Horses are in stables inside the park super friendly. Their dog park is in the back side of the park however is massive and off the leash. So big we kept our dog on the leash so we didn't lose the little fellah. Good times!!!

During my last visit, there were gunshots. It has nothing to do with the park. I love bringing my dogs because it's spacious and beautiful. I hope that Memphis improves the safety of the city.

Our pup loves it here. Lots of water if your dog loves swimming, lots of room to run. Best off leash dog area I’ve ever been to. Dog-friendliness Perfect

Best dog park ever, unique. We enjoyed a lot watching our dogs be happy as few times before in a public space. Wonderful, I know is a dog park, but they can add some children area to get the best park

Could not be a better dog park anywhere. Traveling across the country in an RV with dogs requires us to find at least one dog park every day. We didn't expect to find this dog fantasy of a park. The dogs were exhausted even before they reached the boundaries of this beautiful, massive space. Do not miss the opportunity to go here, with dogs or not.

Google maps took me to the off leash dog park. I had an amazing relaxing moment sitting on a bench watching all the dogs run. When I left I saw different entrances to different areas of the park.

Stopped here when traveling from TX to OH with our German Shepherd. This is a large dog park open to all off leash pets. Has a walking trail for you. Picnic tables. It was a great 1.5 hour stop for lunch and walk for all of us. Will most likely stop again on way back.

There is so much room for my dog to run around. The ponds are easily accessible. There are different sides to the pond, so if your dog isn't good with others, they won't interact. There are benches and picnic tables for the owners to sit at also. Such a paradise!
