This seems like a nice spot for a developer to build a new 50 story apartment or cram 5 condos onto one lot.

This place is very small but pretty amazing. If your not careful you might miss it. Its a nice little place just to sit and read .

Fine for just sitting and enjoying the scenery but would be alot nicer if it was fenced in so dogs could be off the leash here.

We just happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this... It's a little odd to call this place a park, but it is technically one. It's a lot the size of a single townhouse lot with a giant tree in it and a couple benches. It's probably a good place to take a dog if you live nearby, but my kid loved the giant tree.

Cute small park inbetween residential buildings. Perfect for meditating, small games of catch or frisbee, and more.

I skipped around the tree and thought happy thoughts, beaming from within as I asked the tree for blessings of strength and resilience. I felt better after leaving and I’m SO glad I found this hidden gem! My eyes perked up and I heard a voice from above say “location unlocked” when I stumbled upon this hidden gem on my morning stroll through Montrose. Immediately, I was struck by the beauty of this example of a community space tucked between the streets and streets of gated communities and fences I’d walked past before my surprise encounter. The beauty of this tree spoke to me. I’m so happy to see that I’m not the first, and I certainly won’t be the last. Miss Peggy, you have a beautiful park. Sending whoever this message reaches peace, love, and strength ❤️🙏☺️

Cute dog park oasis in the middle of town. Not worth coming just for that but if you want an outdoor spot to hang out and you're around it's pretty nice

Houston's smallest park in the heart of the city. Two benches a trash can and a tree.

Shiffick park is a well kept secret. A VERY small pocket park. A nice place to meditate or spend some quiet time with someone special under the shade of the huge, century old oak tree. That tree IS the park. Keep alert for elves, knome, faeries and other magical, mystical creatures that find such settings irrestible! Heard a Leprechaun was recently seen burying something under the long low branchs of this very old tree. Beware if you happen by on Halloween or the winter or summer solstice.
