It's a fine park. First, I'll address my problem. There is no way to show up asks pay to go once. They have a neat security feature where you'd need a fob or something to gain entry. Unfortunately, we were just driving through and wanted to run the dogs for 15 minutes, perfectly happy to pay the$5 single day fee. Fortunately, a nice person leaving the park let us in. Now, for the park. All grass. From afar, it looks lush. When you're in it, you realize that the grass is sparse. It needs some overseeding. Your dog will need to be cleaned up. Regarding one comment about the mud at the front, they have laid down a nice amount of straw so that's not a problem. Thanks for letting us play!

This dog park requires payment at the local parks department. Most owners pick up after their dogs, much more than at the apartment complex I live in. It gets soggy when it rains. There is ample access to shade, though I'd prefer more benches under trees. The drainage creek will fill an area into a stagnant pond; my dog loves to roll in the mud and do a chomping motion in the water. If there's been rain in the last month, bring something to wash your dog with.

We have loved this park but had a very frightening experience today. There was a large hole in the fence we did not notice until it was too late. Our dog got out of the hole and into the street. Only with the help of other patrons did we get her back. This was by far not the first time I have seen a large hole in the fence, and they are always poorly repaired with wire. If the city is not willing to maintain the dog park and make it safe for all dogs, they should not have it at all. Sadly we cannot go back because we cannot be sure it will be safe for our girl.

Pricey for one dog park ($75 annually) and honestly a tad bit inconvenient to buy access to all dog parks. You'll have to go to a specific park to register. But, I appreciate the fact that its not open to the general public. Wish there were fountains for the dogs instead of bringing our own water.

It’s ridiculous that there is no option to insert cash/swipe your card and enter a code to get in… or even pay online ahead of time. Making pet owners drive to a park office that is 8 minutes away and only open 12-6 pm on weekdays is absolutely ridiculous. It should either be free or it should be accesible to people with regular schedules. It is really the only big dog park within 20 minutes for me, so I may just have take off early to do it. I’ve never heard of such an inconvenient system before!

Pulled up to empty bottles of alcohol all over the ground - with weed wrappers nearby - and a sign saying that payment is required to enter! They couldn't add this to the map description?! Clearly the cops don't care where people are getting drunk and high down here...

It looked like a nice dog park. It was easy to find. However, it turns out it was not open to the general public and you need a special fob to get inside, so we were unable to let our dog play there.

Seriously? You have to pay to get in? And there are no instructions anywhere on how to do this. Thankfully somebody let me in my pup in. Parks are funded by the cities from my experience. Indianapolis is definitely not a pet friendly town.

The space it great. Large fenced in area for your dog to run around. Major reason we are no longer taking out r German Shepherd here is there are quite a few aggressive, dominate dogs that go here. My 9 month old dog has been attacked twice now, both times she was just waking past the dogs that jumped on her. Luckily no skin was broken but my husband had to physically pry the dog’s mouth open that has clamped down on her neck. The owners of the aggressive dogs have the nerve to bring them to a community dog park?! A few bad apples ruin the entire experience for everyone else.

Must have a scan card pass to enter. Beyond the difficulty of obtaining the pass the park is large and nice. It's not usually crowded and my dog absolutely loves it here.

Really nice looking dog park, but I stopped here while on a log drive to give my dog a break and didn’t realize you had to pay to enter. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Seeking as how it’s nighttime in the winter, there were no other dogs here. I ended using just walking my dog around the grass which was fine but I wouldn’t have come this far out of the way for just that had I known.

.y Grand furbaby loves this park. This is by far the best park I have been to💯 the open space is impeccable and clean. Dog owners need to do their part and clean after their own babies! Would 10000% recommend. …

We had a great time at this park over the weekend. For everyone complaining about having to pay- I’d rather pay and have a well maintained area for my pups to play in and to ensure people are vaccinating their dogs before bringing them around mine. I appreciate that the park cares to check our pet’s records. We’re paying for the convenience and peace of mind. If you want to take your dog to a park where they don’t care about those things, then check out the free dog parks else where. I personally think this policy helps keep the troublemakers out as well.

My dog love this place! He was able to run and meet new friends! I love how they have water bowls out and provide poopie bags for your fur baby!

Drove here to check it out while travelling with our dogs. You cannot enter without first purchasing a pass at a different location. Bummer!

It's ok. Nice big play area. No water station for the dogs, so being your own water. Some people aren't cleaning up after their dogs, so watch your step.

Great big park. Plenty of room for lots of dogs to run around and play. Occasionally left behind toys but always good to bring your own. My dog Ollie loves Smock!

I do not recommend visiting this dog park on a routine basis. While the park is satisfactory in size and maintenance, flea exposure and risk of injury to the dog is imminent. On 1 occasion my mini Schnauzer was attacked and bitten requiring medical care and every visit to the park contracted fleas. The park necessitates regular flea treatment control and dog size division control.

This is NOT a PUBLIC dog park. Visitors beware that you need a yearly pass to attend. We booked a hotel nearby, mainly due to the dog park being nearby. If I was a Greenwood resident, it looks really nice
