This place is and was a disaster. First when we arrived, there was trash piled high in the trash cans. When we started setting up the pool closed for about 15-20 minutes and all the kids piled over to the pavilion area, disrupting our reserved party. When asked to leave they left and brought back more teens, this time with guns. We all felt as if we were being held hostage. And they came in and through our rented space as if they were invited. This is the worts place to have anything. Please, please I employ you to stay away from this Pavilion. Don’t waste your time and money. I even had to call the police.

My sister had a party for my nephew at this park, which I attended. It was good. It was first time at this particular park. It has good walking trails, the park is across from the Lakewood Stadium, also the bus route runs 15-20 mins.

Great space. Outrageous size.

Could not find the restrooms if there are any. Nor did I notice a picnic area. The first field before the hill is a great space for kickball etc green & clean. Playground Small play area to climb no seating for parents or seniors no slide or swings. Dog-friendliness Looks like a good place to walk your dog.

Forgot to take photos but there is pathway to leads to a lake and its very relaxings. There are huge rocks to sit upon and juat watch the stream flow, there's even a mini waterfall, the whole family loved the fresh crisp air as well.

There's a pretty large, consistent group that comes in the evening as well as keeping the park nice. Has plenty of water and no gate. Lots of shade as well

This is a city of Hapeville Park definitely the Lakewood community I believe and it was very nice. Specially, the dog park and it was safe. In my opinion. I felt safe and enjoyed my time spent there. Playground The children seemed to be having a great time on the slides! Restrooms Clean! Dog-friendliness The dog park was great, my little yorkie had a blast! Picnic area No litter!

My 🐕🐕 dogs lov this place so much space for your Dog to run an play. The dog park has 2 sides large and small. They even have a pool for th Dogs.. Clean place the Park offers sprinkler system for the Family.... U can't forget the view of the Forest.... An it has a trail an playground area on th other side... I enjoy coming here.... …

Nice sized park with large pagodas with picnic tables. There are some fun, interactive playground equipment around the park for kids. And their is a sem-hidden path to a nice sized creek with a mini-mini waterfall.

Enjoyable park to host celebration as we do annually for south Fulton red birds.. and recently a home going celebration for rising husband father falcon fan red bird griller (one of the best)

Very peaceful. Large, large dog park with seating and beautiful views. Separate, smaller small dog park. Great big pool $5/person open 12p-7p. Playground area. Free 12p-7p Mon- Thursday(or Fri..idr). Overall nice surprise to find. Will return soon.

Go every year for our fraternity/Sorority 25/52/65 family

Nice setting and playground for the kids trail to bike ride or stroll through but it's not being kept up in the sanitation area as far as the trash laying around EVERYWHERE and the up keep of the sitting area. People urinate in the grills and the area around the benches and the grills reek of urine. Upon getting there myself I didn't really want my kids playing there for fear of contamination from anything.

The park itself is beautiful. However, the management of it is poor. Homless live in the picnic pavilions. The homeless burnt down the Maddox park pavilion. Please find the homeless a different place to live!

Adequate park with public pool and dog park. Parking fills fast during specific times and events so if you're planning a gathering, setup early.

We went to the dog park. It was very well-maintained. Plenty of dog bags, lots of well-cut grass, and plenty of shady areas. Even has a hose and baby pool, along with a dog water fountain for fresh water. Great experience. Will definitely return.

Excellent park to bring your fur buddy! Very large and clean.

The trail is very nice but the park itself is a bit sketchy. A lot of homeless make the covered areas their residence. The playground, and all play areas for that matter, could use a good pressure washing. The baseball field looks nice but no rec sports are offered by this park. There's no public engagement from the city at this park. Which is unfortunate because our community needs it! Maybe a burger/hot dog day in exchange for the community to come out and clean up the park while meeting the neighbors. Just a thought...
