South Mountain Dog Park

Love the dog park and my Pandora loves it too. Most people see my 1yr old pit and feel intimidated but everyone is so sweet and the more often you go you see some regular faces and it makes the atmosphere so much better for the dogs. I live that they have separate areas for the smaller and larger dogs.

Went here last week with my friend and our dogs. It's nice because it's all gravel. Some really great friendly pet owners here. All well behaved dogs from what I saw. Definitely will be going back.

Today was our first time taking our 8 month old Cavapoos to this dog park. Loved it!!!! Other good owners were welcoming and our babies had fun playing with all the other dogs. We will be taking them back.

Honestly, the best dog park there is a selective park for only the little dogs and then a park where all sizes can play it’s so adorable. I love it.

This park is so fun for both me and my dogs. Its gorgeous too!

First time going and i loved it!! It was so beautiful and so much greenery. But make sure to come prepared. Hiking boots and proper clothes. We hiked for about two hours and it was a bit difficult because i didn’t have the right shoes. I did see an area for dogs but i didn’t see much of it. Overall, it’s a beautiful place and i can’t wait to go again.

Small and large dog park split. Water on both sides and some obstacles for the dogs to play around on. However you do have to watch for dogs as they sometimes will fight if the owners aren't careful. Most dogs are pretty nice and social though.

The county did a nice job with this park. All gravel they provide poop bags if needed and water bowls. Usually decent well behaved dogs once in a while you get one acting up. Just need to be aware. They do have a time out fenced in area.

Huge dog park with lots of entertainment for your pup! Separate parks for small and large dogs. Would be even better if there was a more interesting water feature for them on a hot day...

Fairly large dog park in South Mountain Reservation. The place is relatively clean and there is a hose to clean up the dog if needed. There is, plenty of space for running and there are separate areas for smal and large dogs. Most dog owners are well behaved. Parking is usually easy. There are nice sculptures in the parking aerea

Otis begs me to take him to South Mountain every time we get into the car, he’s so familiar with the drive there now that he starts pacing the back seat about half way there. Plenty of shade and seating for humans, beautiful trails around the reservation, water, dog pools, and very obviously maintained frequently. Otis approved.

The dog park, sculpture garden, and wildflower preserve are small but lovely. There are two large fenced-in dog parks, one for smaller dogs and one for bigger dogs. Surrounding the park, garden, and preserve are plenty of wooded trails and paved roads for walking, biking, scooting, and running. There are portable toilets near the dog parks. On a cool on and off rainy Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of people exercising and enjoying the park.

There are great trails back there which lead to waterfalls. Follow the Yellow but be very careful as some of the markings are not so obvious. I have a great friend who leads hikes i highly recommend, just ask. Dog-friendliness Great park for dogs!

I loved this park! My first time there. I'm actually from Brooklyn but had a puppy play date with a friend and we chose this park. It's a very good size and I love that there is agility equipment. Also, it's very open and clean. I also felt that the dog owners were very attentive to their dogs behavior. It was a great day!

Excellent park, with huge space for the dogs and lots of different terrain and obstacles to play. Pretty much everyone using masks, and owners attentive to their dogs. Fresh water source too. Excellent.

Normally this uwuld be 5 stars because I come here all the time, but whoever maintains this park needs to do better. The small dog park has poisonous plants growing in it. They need to be removed. Be careful!

Great to bring dogs of any size , they have separate play areas. Pet parents are nice as I could tell. Beautiful artwork along the park as well

Great park!! It has a lot of space to run and a few ramps to play, my dog loves it!! Plenty of trails to explore!

This place is off the chain to bring your dog very peaceful quiet people are very nice plenty of parking. Restrooms Restrooms are pretty clean also. Dog-friendliness Off the chain to bring your dog.
