This playground and park space are located along and adjacent natural wild space with eucalyptus, rock formations, and landscapes of native plant life. I found prickly pear ready to eat, succulent, and juicy, nature trails, and backdrop view with garden scaling and rural use of garden plants next to wild plants. Playground Playground seems like more creatively put together example for use. Seems like children appreciate the conveniance of amenities more than usual. I noted pirate net scaling web, fireman pole, suspension bridge, and several slides. The rock climbing wall looks challenging.

This is a great enclosed dog park that has a double gate entrance, grassy lawn, benches, and a couple of picnic tables. There are usually dogs at this park to socialize and play.

The turf is still in great condition and the other dogs and dog owners are really cool. Everyone pitches in to make it great and there's both grass and tan bark surfaces.

This is a terrific dog park. Large, well maintained, and with a tall fence around the perimeter. The fence is also in good repair. There's a water fountain with dog bowl. It's attached to St Mary's Park, a nice playground, and Alemany Farm, a cute little garden plot in the city.

PLEASE BEWARE OF DOG FEMALE ASSAULTER. The dog park in itself is great. I wish it had sectioned off areas for big and small dogs. There’s one woman in particular, let’s call her Karen, who repeatedly assaults other dogs who sniff, play with, jump on or lick her small black chihuahua. She assaulted my dog in particular twice now, once while I took him to the dog park and once when my husband did. Each time she assaulted my dog and other dogs, she chased out every dog owner from the park (which may have been her aim to begin with.) She would enter the park and not even 0.02 seconds after she would yell “get your dog out of here” once dogs approach her dog… in a public park…. made for dogs. She mostly targets bigger dogs as she can more successfully cry victim, but my husband said that she did the same to some medium sized dogs who merely sniffed her legs. Karen is white, middle aged, has worn a white cap both times she was seen and what looks like a tennis skirt and tank top. We have tried to call the cops on her but she was not at the park by the time police showed up both times. If anyone actually reads through this and sees someone matching Karen’s description at the dog park, I would suggest either recording her in case she assaults your dog, leaving the park altogether, or hope that your dog has good recall to avoid her. Please be careful ESPECIALLY if you are a big dog owner or the owner of a breed that is falsely stereotyped as “scary” as she will kick and slap them.

This park is for the professional dog walkers during the weekdays. I notice that the packs tend to stick together and drive off the outsiders. This makes it difficult for a lone pup. Totally different atmosphere on the weekends.

My fav dog park in the city. Lots of grass in a huge fenced area. If you go during off hours, you might get lucky and be the only one!

This park is amazing. Fresh cute grass, huge play area for the dogs to run in. Lots of benches to sit on while you watch your dog run with the other dogs. The only issue I have is that my dog is disabled and going down the steep hill to get to the dog park is tough for him. If there was another route to take him from the recreation building entrance to the park, it would be helpful. Outside of that, it's definitely one of the best dog parks I've ever been to.

Well maintained park with tons of space to play with your pup. Includes a doggie water fountain... Just add toys!

Very nice fenced in grassy dog play area with benches and paved paths for people. The main downside is the proximity to 280 and the noise that comes with that. There is a dog fountain, but no agility features.

Good open space park baseball field, basketball gym, tennis court, a special section just for dogs park, and a play structure and play group area, also a picnic BBQ area. Just have to be careful recently as of Oct 3, 2021 their has been a family of coyotes running around and they will attack people especially little kids and small dogs so keep them close with a watchful eye. It is still a safe place i pass thru this park every weeknight when its pitch dark alone and no encounters. But I did see a coyote twice but it was still day time it they just looked at me and kept walking wherever they were going.

Got a new pup and was excited to finally be able to take her out. This park looks great except they are closed for the winter. We were disappointed but plan to come back once it's reopened. Looked through Google and different sites and never saw any mention of the closure. Thought I'd save some people the trouble of coming here while park is closed.

We went to St Mary's for a Easter egg beagle meetup. The park is large for SF standards. The large grassy area is surrounded by a path. Which allows you to get in a small walk while watching your dog. It is a mixed use, both a large and small dog playing together. The dogs had a great time searching for treat filled eggs. The dog park itself deserves 5 stars. But there's absolutely no parking. This is clearly a neighborhood dog park. We ended up parking 4 blocks away. Big tip, don't follow Google maps. It will take you to the side of the freeway behind the park. Exit the freeway and drive around to the neighborhood
