Really a sad area of a dog park, it's always dirty and needles in the area. The city could do a lot better with the dog park if they put the money into it. Take your dog to Krepps it's much nicer or even the dog parks in Fairmont.

Great place for big and small dogs alike ...they have divided sections for big and small dogs respectively. I love this place and our little chihuahua does too. There use to be a picnic area in the big dog area but apparently local junkies tore it apart. Truly sad. It's in a rough part of town buts a nice park.

Love this dog park! Most pet owners are friendly and attentive to their own animal; Frequently community dog toys. Do wish there was better parking and that the water pump hadn't been disabled!

It is a very big and spacious dog park. It has grass, which is nice when it rains so it isn't too muddy. It has a water area to refill your dog bowls. It is tricky on finding the park if you are wanting to drive there. You will have to turn on Elk St. off of Walnut. Or you can park my the amphitheater and walk the rail trail up to the park.

It was a nicely gated area for dogs to run and enjoy themselves and I also liked how they have the double gated entrance where you open the first part and walk in, shut that gate so you and your dog are inside the middle part and then you open the next gate to walk inside the actual dog park. A big open fenced area is all it is though.. just thought they could've added a few little things for the dogs to play on and play with. Also they had a water spicket, but it didn't work so the dogs had nothing to drink there. All in all my little pup seemed to have fun anyways and the other people there were really welcoming and friendly!! 😊

Not bad. My doggo always has a great time. There is a bottom gate that connects to the creek where the dogs can play and swim. Do let them stray too far up stream though because there is a lot of glass.

I love this park. It's close to the South Park and Greenmont neighborhoods. Everyone I've met here is kind and most are responsible dog owners. A few don't clean up poop, but mostly the park is good.

Alright for a run of the mill dog park. Not sure how it was such high rated in the past. It's hard to get to and doesn't feel safe. Parking is a struggle and the park and surrounding parking were beyond littered. It was truly nothing special. I'd rather just wall my dog around the block.

Nice place to let the dog run around. Not as muddy or wet as other parks, mostly dry dirt and grass, no puddles. Parking is not the best. You are better off walking down the trail than parking nearby.

Its a great place to take ur dog to run and play! And very relaxing. Quiet, right by the bike trail, along with a creek that they can play in. They even have a water fountain where u can get ur dog some water for a cool drink. I highly recomend this park for anyone who has an animal!

Great place for your four legged furry friend. Splits into 2 areas 1 for large dogs and the other for small ones. There's a large play area a fresh water source; as well as, benches on the top and even a small pavilion with a picnic table at the bottom. Playground Well the large grassy area is the dogs playground :however, it does not have equipment like a traditional children's playground does. Restrooms There are no homosapien restrooms at the dog park; however you could continue your Fido bonding time and follow the trail on down to Sheetz, which is just a short walk from the park Dog-friendliness Well it is a dog park so yeah is extremely canine cool. Picnic area As review mentions there is a picnic table with a pavilion over it.

I loved the two seperate spaces. It gives dogs time to adjust before they play together. I also loved that there is water available for my dogs. I think it is a great place for dogs to play and run.

This is a great dog park! It's wide open and has shady areas with benches. There's a water spigot and bowls, even a few toys scattered about. My dog and I absolutely love coming here. A tip for others: if you're coming from downtown you can get here by going down a ramp off the chestnut bridge. The other bridge does not have a way down.

No lights at night, but a nice sized park for both small and large breeds.

A very big and open area, plenty of room for many dogs. There's also a smaller separate area so you can allow your dog to become familiar with the area before they meet other dogs. Water and waste bags are provided, there are many benches and the park is very clean. There's also a gate at the bottom that leads down to a shallow creek that is perfect for the dogs to run and cool off in. I would recommend bringing some Off or other bug repellant, as the mosquitoes are a plenty. Overall a great park perfect for everything from relaxing while your pup plays to being active with them.

After driving 3500 miles, I've seen lots of dog parks. This one unfortunately has been the worst. If you take Googles directions, you will drive down this extremely steep and narrow road into a sketchy part of town. Not somewhere I'd like to leave my car unattended, or be alone. Park was small and in poor condition. Will not return.

It had been raining, and snow had been melting before I visited, so it was very muddy. I was the only dog owner there. I was a little uncomfortable by the increased presence in people under the bridge with backpacks and bags standing around smoking and talking loudly. There were some guys who wondered around alone talking to themselves; it seemed perhaps earbuds connected to cellular devices. I was put off by the presence of so many what seemed homeless people. I didn't feel safe and left. I wanted a dog park that wasn't a mud hole I could use close to her school before pickup time.

Quiet on a Wednesday morning, but there was another friendly pooch for a little while for my dog to meet. I felt it was enough area for my dog to stretch his legs and run. It was clean, not muddy, and owners have picked up after their dogs. It is sloped, but my dog didn't care, and I just hung out at the benches and drank my coffee while he goofed around. We walked to the park, but there does seem to be a pull off parking area on a street nearby.

Great dog park! Lots of space to throw balls. Mainly covered with grass. A few different benches to sit on. Bags and trash for dog waste. Trail down to the creek so the dogs can swim in the water ( trail is a little steep and may not be the best for those with mobility impairment) . Great overall spot to let’s the dogs play!
