Great dog park. Clean open fields to run and water on either side. Couldn't believe the amount of land.

It's a staple in my dogs life. He absolutely loves it. Everyone's dogs are off leash doing their thing. Easy going area and has great water for swimming during the summer

Wonderful spot to take your dog to. Friendly atmosphere and lots of room to explore.

Nice place with nice dogs. People here go off leash with their dogs even though you are not supposed to. Owners are very good about picking up after their dogs and there is even a dumpster there to dispose of the waste. There is a $200 fine for being off leash and not picking up, but the off leash rule is not enforced.

As dog parks go in New England this one hard to beat. Plenty of open space, narrow trails for the dogs to dart in and out of, tons of water front area. I lived in TX for years and the dog parks are wonderful and plentiful down there. This is the only park i've found in New England that comes remotely close. One of TX's only redeeming qualities. Bring your own poop bags because they don't stock the bag bins.

Simply awesome! So nice to have such a large area to walk and allow our dog to safely run, explore and socialize with other dogs. Relaxing for us, because she could get exercise and we didn't worry about her.

There is always water for the dogs to drink just in case you forget to bring some. However i bring my own water n use the available pans that are there at most of the benches. My dog loves this place. They can run n swim n bask in the sun n stay cool in the shade. 0:13

A perfect, canine-friendly park by the water. The tall front fence is designed with a switchback so you can guide a dog through but it wouldn't be as easy for a dog to get out on their own. Recommend leashes the first time, then use your best judgment as you get used to the park's layout. The park itself is leash-optional. While we were there, everyone's dogs were super well behaved. Looks like the humans are all good about cleaning up after their buddies, too. The park itself provides open fields, tree-shaded trails and - of course - waterside rocky beaches. Parking was a little tight but there seemed to always be a handful of spots available, when we arrived and as we left. The lot is a bit rough to get to right off the main road, and there's a divider so you can only access it from the bay side of the street; Recommend signaling and slowing early so anyone behind you knows what's up.

So many wonderful dogs zooming around and having fun! Beautiful view and very friendly people. The only downside was that there was a lot of dog poop everywhere.

This is a great spot if your dog needs to run. We've had 3 labs over the past 30 years, and each one has loved to come here, play in the water and the MUD, and run up and down the terrain. The evening sunsets can be spectacular! We are always careful if there is thin ice. And be aware of the tide. The park is along the Back River but is tidal with an 8' swing. Playground There is no playground here. Restrooms There are no restrooms here. Dog-friendliness It really varies, but I've always come with our labs for the past 25-30 years. We haven't had any major issues, just some dominance contests that were just for show. I've heard that there have been some fights, though. Picnic area There is no picnic area here. There are benches and a few picnic tables, but you're more likely to see dogs on the tables than seeing people eating trying to enjoy a quiet moment in nature. 0:10

Fabulous dog park that's not really a dog park. More like a very pretty walking park with a ton of loose dogs. Fine to drop the leash and let them run. Our pug posse had a ball.... literally :)

This is a wonderful dog park. Nice stroll and beautiful views. FYI this park is not accesible for strollers or wheelchairs. If you have a baby than it’s best to bring a carrier/wrap. Also very windy since it’s on the water. No bathrooms either.

Great space, friendly & responsible dog owners. Coastal paths, large, grassy meadows; benches and bowls. My Labrador smells great after his swim🤩 We can't wait to come back! …

Large park on a peninsula. Lots of open space, trails running through the wooded sections and several slopes down to the beach (which is mostly rocks and pebbles.) Signs declare that all dogs should be on-leash, but there were 15 dogs present today, all running free. There is a watter bubbler, doggie mitt bags, and trash for pet waste. Do note that there is no actual fence keeping the dogs in - so if you follow the herd and go off-leash, your dog needs to have good recall.

I absolutely love this place. My dog has passed and I haven’t been in a while. Will be there with new puppy before you know it. Got a new dog. He’s only five months but loves this place already. There have been a couple times where a dog or two was kind of mean to him. I try and brush it off. I can’t blame the dog for owners who are dumb and have no dog park edict. We’ve also met some really cool people there as well. My dog is still afraid of the water but has been going in a little more each time. The bottom line it’s a great place to get your dog the much needed play time and exercise they deserve. After we leave he is worn out for the day.

Benny (the tri color corgi) is still water shy but he loved rolling in the grass and trying to eat dead crabs! His girlfriend, Bonnie (the blonde weenie), loves swimming in the water and gathering seaweed haha! Great place for dogs and humans!!!
