There are better dog parks in the city. Summit Park as a whole is excellent, but the dog park is really small. Summit Park is massive yet they only fenced in a tiny area to create the dog park. It isn’t super well shaded, and gets really crowded on weekends with lots of dogs who shouldn’t be at a dog park. Owners seem to think that just throwing a dog into a crowded dog park will fix their dog’s socialization issues. Go to Otto Armleader instead.

I am a resident of Blue Ash and I would enjoy visiting a dog park but my dog is 10 lbs. and I’m not risking his safety by putting him in with large dogs. There is enough property for a small park. I would think with the new apartments at Summit there are enough residents with small dogs to warrant one.

This was a nice fenced in dog park, about 50' wide and maybe 125' long. It's right with the really nice Summit Park, all of which was one a small airfield. Sadly, the city is keeping up the people park, and letting the dog park go. The once nice grass is now weeds. Tennis balls can get lost in them, and then there is the mud after a rain. Disappointing now. We even drive farther to go to the much larger much nice park by Lunken airfield. Actually 4 parks, sorted by dog size, and reseeded on a schedule. Dog-friendliness All dogs welcome

Awesome conversation from private airport to public recreational park. Take the kids there and sweat a little crumbing the control tower for a panoramic view.

Chose to stay at a hotel near Summit Park so we could bring our 2 dogs to the dog park there. Sadly the first time we went it was so muddy that we had to bath the dogs immediately after. Never went back bc we didn’t want to deal with muddy dogs again which defeated the purpose of us staying right there.

Dog park was too muddy to let dogs loose. Dog park could use some more grass. Walking path around area was wide and clean. Fun area

The dog park has plenty of space and faucets to make sure your pup is hydrated! There are nearby walking trails to take as well if the dog park is too crowded. The space is great but after rains it can get exceptionally muddy.

The park is a nice size, but for as nice as the rest of summit park is the dog park needs serious work. It’s just a giant mud pit.

We love going here, it's a nice size dog park and I've only had good experiences with other owners and dogs. Poop bags were well stocked when I went (though I still bring my own just in case), water available in summer months (shut off during winter). The only downside is it can get pretty muddy, so it's better after a couple dry days.

The park is large , a lot of space for the hogs to run around. But it’s not maintained properly. The drainage is bad , it’s super muddy even days after one rain or snow. It’s like a swamp then. The authorities should spread mulch in there

Decent sized park. The mud issue is NOT resolved. There was a huge puddle at the front gate and more than 75% of the park is just dirt patches, puddles and mud, not much grass. Kind of disappointing for such a large and beautiful park to have this as their dog park. they should really put rocks at the entrance area and a lot more grass.

I absolutely love that there is a dog park here! It's a decent size and very peaceful! I've been twice now and both times were wonderful! If you're going to Summit Park and have a pup, definitely bring them along!

Blue ash definitely has the tax payer dollars to make this dog park better. One 10 minute visit and your dog needs a grooming session. This park is literally covered in mud EVERYWHERE!!. The only time the dog park here is nice is the summer time when it hasn’t rained for a while and the weeds are overgrown to make it look like “grass.” Putting turf in this park would make it 1000x better. I am not sure why the city of blue ash has not done anything about this

The dogs who come here are generally great. I’m happy to have a dog park close to where I live. I do wish there was more shade (at some times of day where ours no shade at all), and it gets REALLY muddy sometimes. Would be nice of it were either mulched or if there were two dog parks that alternated being open to allow the grass to grow back.

It's finally warming up, hopefully the grass will grow back and it will become less muddy. My aloof loaf can get out there and make friends.

Worst dog park in the greater Cincinnati area. Always two large mud pits that are usually filled with gross green stagnant water. This dog park gets no care or attention. The two entrance gates were broke for about a month and a half before they were fixed. My main issue is the mud puddles. Look at how awful this is. All that needs to be done is have it filled with dirt or mulch, but the park managers appear to be so incompetent since this simple solution has been been done.

This dog park is well maintained and has poo bags available if you left yours at home. Bring your own water bowl, a faucet is located in the Northeast corner. Installing a permanent water bowl/fountain/bathing station would be a great upgrade. A small section of the park is low and collects water - watch out for mud. The other dog owners I have met there are friendly and are typically very good about picking up waste. Many breeds of dogs from toys to working to beautiful mutts will visit throughout the day. If your doggo has been extra good, doggy ice cream is available over in the main building under the canopy. The park has nice shady walking trails right behind the dog park. The park itself could use a bit more shade, as it would allow for a longer visit on hot summer days. There are benches inside the dog park for when you want to sit back and watch your dog be a dog. Other than inside the dog park fenced area, your dog needs to be on a leash.

Hiking trails, dog park, tons of room! A little lake to fish in (catch and release). A few restaurants right next door as well.

A good place to let your doggie burn some energy. The people coming in thie place are nice and friendly. They take care of their dogs and their mess right away

Good open dog park for running doggies. No play ground stuff for dogs. Minus 1 star. We went in the morning and were not crowded with only three other dogs.
