Wide open grass fields with room for frisbie. Make sure the car you go there in has owner plates registered in Norwalk - not just passengers who live in town.

Unfenced LARGE field designated as a dog park. Your dog will need good recall, because there are roads bordering three sides. No water. Trash and bags only at the parking lot.

Great Park to walk your dog, please be aware that the parking is only for Norwalk residents.

What kind of elitist dog park is this? Residents only parking?! What a joke. It's just a large open field, hardly a dog park. Do not recommend

No doggie drinking water, no doggie bags, only two benches to sit. Park is not all fenced off. It is large however, with a little wooded area with trails. There is a small pond for those dogs that like to swim.

Great space for dogs and humans! Wish there was fresh water, but we bring our own and our 3 year old lab is in his own perfect universe!!!

Nice open space. Great place to bring your dog/s. Car shows there every once in a while. Also great place to watch the fireworks on 4th of July.

A very good place to take your dog for a walk and play. Sometimes, letting the dog off the leash may not be a good idea if there is a dog nearby that may not be friendly... just be careful with that.

Beautiful expanse of lawns next to natural wetlands in view of the Sound. Dogfriendly and friendly dogs abound. Tide pool for dog swimming, but beware the stinky black mud if your dog likes to dig or wallow. Mine does. People are friendly and cooperative in keeping the park clean.

Large open space for dogs to run and play. Also a nice pond to play in. Could use fencing to keep dogs from going into the road.

The dog park is really great, but BEWARE! If you are not a Norwalk resident you can NOT park in the parking lot (and BTW, there is nowhere else to park other than the 15 spaces provided). We are from out of state and stopped there while looking at a boat at the Norwalk Cove Marina and got a $60 ticket! I hope my dog had $60 worth of FUN in the 20 minutes we were there!

A beautiful and spacious area to bring your dog. There’s plenty of room to run around and even a little pond for them to swim in. On top of that, there are always super friendly dogs and people!

I’ve been being my dog here for 7 years. It was a lovely close dog park. The last couple of years, maybe Covid dog owners, it has become terrible. Dog waste everywhere, negligent / ignorant owners and many untrained misbehaving dogs. It is not worth the risk of getting your dog sick or attacked.

I wish it was a fully enclosed dog park, and that the trail paths were longer. I love/hate that it’s an off leash park. Also, there’s no enrichment activities or dog park playground. This park is also quite small. Playground Dog park Dog-friendliness Dog park

Beautiful dog park!🐕🏞️ I would love to take my dog again but I was given a $150 parking ticket for not being a Norwalk resident. 😳 …

A treasure for the local community. People can off leash their dogs here and let them run free.

I come to this park once a year for an AKC sanctioned multi-day dog show. It is well run. I always enjoy myself while my dog competes in multiple events.** The local residents need to remember that if an area is taped off or blocked during the annual event in June, it means you can't casually walk your dog in that area. You are distracting these canine athletes and may get injured yourself. Dog-friendliness Year-round access for dogs EXCEPT for 1 weekend in June for annual dog show.

My two doberman LOVE this dog park! The field is open, fresh and it's very easy to keep your eyes on your companion. It's a great field to play fetch in and a lot of the dog owners we have met are friendly. Only issue is that a lot of people do not pick up after their dogs but for the most part, it's clean. The busiest times I've seen are over the weekends. There's also limited parking but people make it work. Fun park for the doggies!!! PS - There's no drinking water available. For these hot days bring a pop up bowl and water for your doggies :)
