It's nice and peaceful to look out over the Merrimack River. It is also right next to a dog park for anyone who wants to be outside with their 4-legged family members. Picnic area Well kept, clean, and amazingly calm.

Nice park with picnic tables and a trail along the river. Towards the entrance right next to parking is the dog park. The path is really nice and appears to be part of the Merrimack River Rail Trail. However, I didn't go the full route because it goes under a bridge, and it seemed like people were camping or living there.

There's a dog park and trails. While it's not my favorite park in Concord (that would be Sewalls Falls Multi-Use Recreation Area), I had no complaints. If you're not bringing a friendly four legger, you might pass this one up, but dogs generally love this place. I like it too.

It's filthy and the city couldn't care less about that fact. Get it together Concord.

This park is going to be great it's not quite open yet but when it is it's going to be one of the good parts in New Hampshire to bring kids and dogs at the great walking trail so keep posted and check it out

Excellent dog park! The park has two enclosures, one for small dogs and another for large dogs.

Clean walkways with great views of the NH capital building. 2 sections for the dogs; large and small.

Has great potential but needs trash cans. Nice paved wide walkway, great for anyone with strollers or wheelchairs. Good view of downtown Concord. The dog park looked nice but as there are no trash cans there's a lot of bagged dog waste that people have left behind. I like that they have plans to expand and even join larger trails.

Nice park. Beautiful scenery. Although it's off a busy street, the noise level is not bad at all.

I can't believe nobody has said what the park used to be not sure if it's like it anymore but years ago it used to be known as pickle park! I'm sure people can figure out why they call it that I heard that they crack down on it making it a dog park and I heard that they chopped a lot of the woods out on top of the people that were walking their dogs and happened to see guys here and there in the woods standing while another guy is crouched in front of him lol but yeah hopefully they made it better

A depressing park. The dog park in the center looks like a prison for dogs, and has ugly wirelink fencing around the edge that makes you think you're in the ghetto. Then, if you walk along the river bank further along, you find a homeless encampment - a horrible reminder of NH's failure to look after its more vulnerable residents.

Adequate dog park, set back from the road but not very large. Separate areas for small and large dogs is a plus

They did a nice job on the park. Bigger fenced in areas for dogs (one area for small dogs and one for medium and large dogs). Nice new trails and lots of room to just be outside enjoying views of the river and our Capital.

Small park and short paved traiฤบ to bridge. Main feature is the fenced dog run areas. A couple of benches and picnic tables, no bathrooms or trash cans. No other amenities.

Trail passes under highway. There are abandoned shopping carts, trash, glass, mud and all kinds of debris blocking the trail, making the trail impassable. Park needs a few more benches, not just blocks of granite, to sit on. Needs more picnic tables, too

A park ๐Ÿž๏ธ that is aimed at dog ๐Ÿถ owners. Two areas for Fido, which the ๐Ÿ• dogs I observed loved. The other reviews are correct, this park ๐Ÿž๏ธ needs trash ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ cans! Noticable amount of ๐Ÿšฏ litter. A police ๐Ÿš“ officer arrived and walked the paved ๐Ÿšฒ bicycling trail that goes under the street. Nice view of the Capitol building. Benches available. If you want to let your dog ๐Ÿ• have some space, come here. According to the information โ„น๏ธ kiosk, there are plans to extend the trail. Update: June 2024; The area looks a lot better when I visited again. The litter ๐Ÿšฎ was under the overpass where a homeless person was throwing his stuff around. There was an area next to the park that was being cleared. I don't know if it is for private or public development. Playground There are no playgrounds available. Restrooms I don't remember seeing any porta potties available. Dog-friendliness Dog ๐Ÿ• park available. Picnic area Picnic ๐Ÿงบ table available.

Love the quiet views. Dog park. picnic tables and benches. Dog-friendliness Whole doggy park area for owners and dogs to be leash free. Fences a couple zones and water bubblers for dogs. Please clean up after the dogs too. Receptacle provided with and for poop bags. Enjoy shades, jumps and circles for hours. Picnic area Picnic table and bench with nice river views and views of the Concord quarries. Granite State after all. Lol. Enjoy the walk after a quick snack.
